Hey, one request though: if you're gonna leave and work on an article or something and leave your stream running, could you at least put a message up on what's going on? I tuned in yesterday for like 2 hours of music while I was writing, but no playing and no idea what was going on ![]() Also I just got to the part with Brad and I can't stop laughing ><

Eh all i can say is that some decks are a lot better with this printing. Esper and the incoming token decks for example. In either case, its definitely good enough for those awkward decks.

Ran into 4 control decks(2-1-1), 2 mage blade lists(1-1) and 1 UW tempered steel list(0-1) which was main board 4 of mana leaks. First round was my Esper Control list vs Grixis. wound up going 1-1-1 due to games 1 and 2 taking 45 minutes of the 50 minute round. I lost game one due to being greedy with the cards I had in hand instead of waiting until I knew I could win the counter war. Second round was vs another Esper control/Solar flare mish mosh. He was mainboarding 3 mana leaks and 3 dissipates but was splashing white for O ring and flashback on unburial rights instead of splashing black for doom blades and alchemy flashback. he ended up not knowing how to play a control mirror so he casted his threats way too early which lead to me eventually just resolving a sphinx and getting ahead in cards. Third Round was vs a Mag blade list. I mulled to 5 game 1 and mulled to 6 game 3 so I really didnt put up much of a threat. Fourth Round was a UW control list. Just got shafted on draws hitting 15 lands in a row....yes in a row. Even an alchemy and flashback found only lands. he just casted a white sun for like 7 and won. Game two was another show of piss poor draws as I alchemied 3 times and was stuck on 5 lands until turn 8. White Sun eventually got there again. Fifth round was Mage Blade again. didnt have to mulligan here so just thrashed him 2-0. sideboard gut shots are superstars here. Sixth round was Grixis control. game one I got Drownyard active turn 4 and he had no ghost quarters in his deck. milled all his threats and proceeded to get there. Game 2 at around turn 15 he lost the counter war by miscounting his mana. Round 7 against tempered steel was a shit show. Game 1 I mull to 5 as I had no lands in either hand. keep a 2 lander with a day and o ring and a mana leak I think. eventually get to the point where I kinda stabilize with a wurmcoil on board but she draws her 2nd tempered steel and just deals lethal over the top with signal pest. Game 2 I again mull to 6. Stabilize at 9 poison and 11 life. she has an empty hand and proceeds to top deck an oring to get my sphinx. le sigh. Top 8 was 1 Wolf Run, 1 Esper Control, 5 mage blade, and 1 Mono black. Mono Black player got his ass thrashed by my friends mage blade list. Vapor Snag is so good in that match up. I added that 1 of Drownyard to my list right as I was filling out my deck registration. Super star of the day. made winning possible even when I didn't hit a win condition and milling their threats is always relevant. mainboard timelys made me gag all day in every match up. I really think I can drop Wurmcoil and the 2 timelys for a Sun Titan and 2 ratchet bombs.

If you ever see a player on MWS or MTGO that is sitting on 7/8 cards and just doing nothing but milling you on EOT, it's probably me. I don't think I ever intend to win via Titan or Sphinx with that deck. haha awesome, the card is really insane. i hope mill becomes an actual strategy here soon.

And... No? People complaining about planeswalkers nowadays are too stubborn and/or scrubs. As bad as Jace and any other PW that people grief about (someone griefed me for playing Karn wat?), they never dominated an archetype like say Stoneforge did. Like I am playing UB control right now and that deck has next to zero interactions with a PW once it resolves, but as a player you definitely should have been playing around that in the first place.
