I also modded the textures to use the original asian textures instead of the censored Western textures. The difference is usually in midriffs and the like. http://tera-mods.blogspot.com/2012/02/removing-western-censoring-on-elin-for.html | ||

You just backup the originals and replace with the modified ones, IIRC from what I did to get the japanese voices. And possibly undo whenever a patch comes along.. It's still against ToS and no one knows what happens if EME actually decides to enforce it. And Jibba's pic reminds me of the Mortimer Goldman one sans beard and even longer nose. | ||

The quests on the first island are horrible and repeat themselves : same monster models , same go kill monsters or go kill monsters and get items from them, go talk to X. Really, i really wanted to like tera and it has its good points but the quests from the starting zone are subpar to say the least. And something hints me that all quests are like this... Though hopefully not | ||

Though hopefully not Well almost all quests are kill quests. Mobs use the same 40 or 50 or so base models with palette swaps but the enemies do gain more abilities one at a time as you find them. Later on after the starter island you have to start caring about not getting hit. Im sure if you played through past the first couple hours of the game you would have seen something different. You have to remember that every game has to go through a tutorial phase to orient the casual players. Although if you play slayer you can kinda turn your brain off. Which just might be the order of the day anyway. | ||
