Actually, Miranda's going to be in the finals, due to the shitty format of this show. I do love the show, but the format for elimination is such a joke..."Pandora mode" to keep the teams even.
Most plausible scenario:
-Team SF pandoras someone out, this is happening tomorrow. -Team SF wins the next team challenge, chooses to go after TastySteve and Josh or Renic destroys him. -Team SF pandoras again. -Finals: surviving SF member vs Miranda. SF member has faced elimination 2-3 times, Miranda has not played a single game outside of getting bodied in team challenges.
A worthy finals, to be sure.
At this point, it doesn't even matter, Bronson/Kor/200yen are out so it's really just between the team SF players to cannibalize each other for 25 large.
At first I thought this game would just be a fun distraction, but I'm starting to feel its going to become the main event wherever it is, it looks really really good. And Cross Assault is just hilarious, at this point though its just free money for whoever wins between josh/renic in a couple days though. Anyone else one of the guys who scream AWKWARD ASSAULT whenever the host shows up? :D
Rofl the pandora elimination is retarded yeah, there is zero benefit to winning the SF vs Tekken elimination because you might as well lose so that next day you can focus just on practicing and not worry about losing the challenge, gaining/losing the setup isn't that important any more.

I respected Aris trying to motivate his team, bending the rules and cracking some jokes here but he lost my respect when he said that swearing and beeing an asshole was part of the Fighting Game Community. He said that the FGC could never be like the Starcraft community and he didnt want it to be anyway. If beeing an unprofessional jerkoff who doesnt respect women or his enemies is required then i dont want to be part of the FGC.
Dont get me wrong, i dont have a problem with swearing of any kind but disrespecting women constantly or bitching about opponents etc. is just wrong to me.

Sounds like there are some one frame/tight links in this game.. why did you hate it in SF4? It was a good way to tell a scrubby masher apart from someone who knew there character well
If you aren't good at links you can focus on chain combos more, but I think the game will progress to a more link heavy style.. as they are harder to punish and don't give your opponent as much grey life to recover as chain combos do.

because you either have a quality fightstick or will suck terribly with like 80% of the cast. without that sanwa stuff (or other ridiculously overprized stuff) you will never be able to use plinking, double tapping etc. on a reliable basis. i find that very unfair to casual players.
