I'll take some vuvuzelas if it means that I get to watch an experimental US squad win a tough game in a hostile location. Furthermore, a star might have been born in that game. I was worried about the future of US soccer after the WC, given that most of the current stars will be past their primes next WC. This went a long way to asuage those fears. | ||

The first half was pretty much one sized. It still hard to say if it was because France was pretty good or if England was pretty bad, but France has just won 4 games in a row, wich did not happen for such a long time ( since 2006 WC if I remember correctly). I just wish that Benzema would play a little more in Real so he could endure a whole match, but I long as he keep scoring 1 goal per game, I'm fine with him being a substitute :p | ||
