These friendlies are organized by FIFA, which is considering the bid. These friendlies are, in part, a first test of the ability of Quatar to host a World Cup. They picked Argentina vs. Brazil because it's a big match, and would better simulate the interest level that any World Cup game would get (as opposed to having a friendly of, say, Northern Ireland vs. Hong Kong). | ||
