Essien expression was hilarious. Don't worry he was fine and Essien gave him some gifts. Just tuned into the U19's, I guess that's why Kakuta wasn't playing in the friendly yesterday. On the Inter thing as I said before if they win or come close to the CL i'll be amazed no matter who they buy. The team that won the CL with Jose, 6 of the 11 players there were new to the club so Jose had to have had a major impact on them working together as a team. Now Benitez, who has been openly criticized by his own players, is known not to be too close to his players where as Mourinho is the opposite. I'm not writing Inter off maybe the players that Benitez inherited would be good enough but doubtful.

It's great to see him back in action! He's truly one of my favourite players. Every year when I get a new FIFA game the first thing I do is buy Essien to create the scariest midfield combo ever with De Rossi/Essien for Roma. :D He's such a baller. It's a pity he's injured so much. ![]() Btw, Roma won today vs some crappy bullshit team with 13-0. Totti, Vuci and Adriano all scored, yay. And Riise scored a hattrick. XD

German Bundesliga, (for those interested) + Show Spoiler + You won't find the biggest names in the Bundesliga ( a la Ronaldo, KAka), but the title is always up for grabs and it can almost go to anyone (with Bayern being the favourite every year). The academy system is producing great talent to play in front of the best attendance of any league in the world, with the cheapest prices of the major European leagues, in the best collection of stadiums a country provides, in a league that is has no shortage of excitement and a great atmosphere. The Bundesliga is the best kept secret in Europe, where you can stand at games, eat Bratwurst and drink real beer (beer showers included after goals) k enough with the praising...- It will be exciting to see how everyone does this season. Will Bayern retain the title? Will Schalke face some big problems in the CL and BL with Kuranyi sold to Russia and no good striker atm? How will the 2 newcomers FCK and St.Pauli (pirates! arrrr) fare in the new season? I'm really excited to see some real football again after the World cup :p.

Wish he left for Milan or something but Lpool... really? It's for the money. The deal being reported is $90,000/wk for 4 years. Arsenal offered 80k/wk for 2 years Spurs offered 65k/wk for 3 years. I'm not a 100% sure these figures are right ( copied it from someone ) but that's a lot of money. I think Torres only makes 110k/wk @ Lpool. Ancelotti still keeps praising him even after saying he didn't want him to leave etc. Essien is now a Peace Ambassador for Africa. ![]()

But seriously, I don't have a clue why he would pick Liverpool besides money and how does Liverpool manage to over those wages, because that is one heck of a lot especially with their debt
