Hopefully the team can close out for a domestic double and make the CL finals now. (if it's against Barca though, it would take luck to win)

Some changes at the mid might be needed. I still think Torres will work after some time. It might require tactical changes over the summer, but he is a good player.

Here's hoping Arsene will get some established players during the summer and the ones he has stay and keep fit.

Just checked their team on Wikipedia, it's hard to imagine that Ivan De La Pena is still there. Guy have been around for ages, maybe the most under accomplished midfielder ever. By the way, is Kameni still such a boss at saving penalties? He deserves more attention from better teams.

I am not saying this as a blind fanboy of Arsenal, but I also have some logic associated with this statement (if it works or not, its up to you). Barca has a lot of good quality players and if Fabregas decides to go, he will most of the time be on the bench. Arsenal is a team comprising of young players and they NEED Fabregas and Fabregas is important to the whole team. He needs to stay there. He is a young player and Arsenal is one of the best places for young kids. (really) I know I am probably beating a dead horse here but I just wanted to get it out of my system.

Barca does not have any money to buy players except they sell some. They were spending much more than they earned for years, accumulated about 500 million € worth of debt, how should they be able to pay for Fabregas with the upcoming financial fairplay regulations?

Dude, I just started following football again after a break of two years so I don't know a lot of the financial states of a lot of the teams. But I guess that somehow puts the probability of Fabregas going to Barca even lower.

Tell that to Mascherano. He's only playing so much right now because of a Busquets injury, otherwise he went from key feature of Liverpool to key feature of Barcelona bench.

Ancelloti saw his team trailing 1-0 and need 2 goals in min 60, why substitude a striker for a striker???? substitude a CB, DM or something for Benayoun or Drogba!! Your team need goals!!! (I admit that because im Real Madrid fan I was spoiled with good reactions from Mourinho, but this is common sense!) Ancelloti substitued a CB for Ferreira in 77 min if I recall correctly. WTF???????? Play with 3 man defence, 2 man defence, it makes no difference if he lose 4-1 or 2-1, he still get kicked out of the compatition! To see Chelsea just barely running at 85 min mark when they need 2 goals is just sad...

![]() But the first minutes look quite promising, Schalke very offensive again, they don´t want to just "bring it home" by defending..
