Gomes is a strange goalkeeper. He can alternate between brilliant and poor at times. I am never certain what to expect out of him because he is so inconsistent with anything he ever does

He played more for chelsea than anyone else... 159 times. Was part of the deal that brought Ashley Cole to chelsea if I remember correctly

there are always injustice in CL every single year, I seem to remember a clear block on the keeper in a corner in chelsea - barcelona that drove everyone crazy at that time as well.

Actually I did know that. I just didn't think he was much of a good defender at Chelsea and that he pretty much made the name that he has now at Arsenal. I stand corrected.

gallas may arguably be the most valuable defender at chelsea since he played both LB/RB. I think the best defensive partnership was also Gallas/Terry, but that just didn't happen often enough because chelsea fail to find players for their full back position.

Well done Spurs, there were a number of shaky occasions and they didn't display the attacking finesse they usually do, but they got through. Sandro played really well picking up so many interception and both Dawson and Gallas were very solid too.

Well sucks for Milan but they have Van Bommel and Cassano who can't play in the CL and it just looks like they're aiming more for the scudetto this year so if they win it, they should be satisfied. Congrats to Spurs!
