Really crappy game from both sides, Tottenham, somewhat unsurprisingly, played more italian-like than the actual italians... But with the obvious focus Milan has put into the league, the outcome should come as no surprise

Did you see how well we played defensively last night against Milan? It was incredible. It has been proven the English league is faster and more aggressive than Serie A and most of the players in Milan are not able to cope with English sides, with Zlatan and Robinho unperfoming at the big stage. At White Hart Lane, Spurs can beat anybody and it will be the case in the return leg!

I was worried in the build up because even the players seemed to think that the only option was just to go at them because we didn't have a hope of defending. But Sandro and Palacios in midfield, Dawson, Assou Ekotto, even the wingers getting back when needed did a fucking great job last night. Not to mention that Gomes is a hero for at least 2 remarkable saves he made.

The atmosphere at the Lane is rowdy, and there are some who would certainly love a fight, but the reality is that it doesn't happen anywhere near as often as one might imagine. What awaits Milan back in London is a werewolf, namely Gareth effing Bale.

Yeah, because the police would like you to believe FF are still around... and yeah, yid army diminished /el oh el. Anyway, will be interesting to see if Barcelona can recover from their draw on Sunday.

What awaits Milan back in London is a werewolf, namely Gareth effing Bale. I dont think Bale will do such a big difference. With the play style of Milan, the deciding factor will be the midfield. If Milan will be weak in the midfield as they were in San Siro, they will get roflstomped. Back in November the deciding factor in the Bernabeu game Real vs Milan wasn't CR7 (most of it), it was the power and speed of Real's midfield against Milan's. (I dont talk about the game in San Siro because Real were so much better and deserved to win but almost lost because of the Referee that let Inzaghi to be so annoying)

Most of that was absences due to injuries, but the same was true for Spurs. I think the injuries Tottenham had to compensate for actually played into their favor, as the combo of Sandro and Palacios meant we were able to win the ball back quite well even if we weren't always able to keep it until Modric came on. Pace is key in this tie, which is why I suspect Bale's return is going to be the nail in the coffin. If Milan couldn't compensate for pace on the right at home, I struggle to imagine they'll be able to cope on both flanks.

Barca was absolutely clinical against a stacked squad. One of the best matches I've ever seen.
