I thought PTR season would stay up till they went live with the patch.

They said they wanted to run a couple seasons on the PTR to practice loading your season stuff on to your regular characters.

I think I'm going to get on the M6 train. Monk doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Still terrible, and now the group build is gone.
Sadly RiF luck isn't with me, 8000 shards for the boots, 3000 so far on helm,

Quick look at the PTR ladder says otherwise. Monks are down 3-4 GR levels on other classes, which points to them simply not dealing enough/taking too much damage.
Almost done M6, just need gloves and I'll be done. Have shit rolls on helm/boots/shoulders, but WH and perfect hexing pants should be able to make up for it.
Gloves remain elusive. 3k shards down the drain so far, and about 120 frags spent on RIF.

Does anyone have a ballpark idea about when the first season is supposed to start on live?

First question: Yes, two times as drop and one time from Kadala. Second question: I would assume about the time 2.1 arrives

I've seen several Frostburns and they were all terrible. As for the seasons they might stagger it a week after the patch or something to make sure everything goes smoothly but if they wait longer than that everyone will just rage at them.

Finished up M6. Just need a rucksack and I'll have all the pieces, albeit with suboptimal rolls.
Still too squishy though without double unity, despite dealing pretty ludicrous damage.

Not that I know of.
But, 497 dex/491vit/97AR/2socket hexing pants probably is one of the best pairs in the world(reroll on AR).
Changed a few items, and now I'm comfortably 2 buttoning my way through T6. In all seriousness though, Sentry CA hits for like 100m on elites. Absolutely insane. Basically press the companion button, drop turrets, and watch stuff melt to the ludicrous DPS that is sentries.
