Seriously, all you people whining about something that's NOT EVEN OUT YET, you need to stop being the little nerdy girls in class who always cries before a math test thinking she'll "fail for sure", but always ends up getting the best grade. Cowboy the fuck up, sissies. =) In other news: daaaaaaaaaaaaaauymn i can't wait for this legendary game to be released. Hope the good old feeling of finding an awesome rare item which NO ONE has, will still exist! Cash that shit in, and gear up all your other chars. No WOW bs, where 4950 people of a 5000 population server has the exact same stats and looks.

As far as I can tell with the amount of randomization hopefully there will be some differentiation between characters. I'm excited ^.^

It's a rainbow. We know. Get over it. Also: Do we/gamers actually care about graphics? I mean: BW and CS1.6 compared to SC2 and CSS. I'm done with this whole art thing. I was told in another thread that Valve was a better company than Blizzard because they had better voice acting. We may take for granted here that everyone likes Blizzard games, but if you were never into Warcraft and never into Starcraft, then you don't have a whole lot to go on. There are just some people who are going to tell you that they want this or that even if it goes against the whole grain of Blizzard's history because they are much more involved in other games and want them to be like that.

Diablo always was and always will be a no-brainer game to play while you are too tired to do anything or just too tense to play starcraft and rage if you lose. :D anyway, i think art looks good and if they come up with a nice story to go on this game will be awesome.

Agreed, but a scary story is much more scary in the dark around a campfire than in bright daylight no? ^__^

I honestly think its about time, i know the games not out yet, but hell theres a Dota sub section and its not out yet. Im sick of flipping through "art styles" which i really want to be reading "How the RMAH works" or "Omg Leet Loot!"

Having been a member of the LoL thread for a year or so, I didn't think we needed a subforum to beign with, but it's kinda nice to have one. It's important to remember that primarily, TL is a SC website, and only offers minimal staff support to other games and such. If TL branches out too far it may lose the uniqueness that we have. (I would also argue that DotA and LoL are heavily involved in E-sports right now which would merit subforums on the grounds that alternate TL teams are created and foster the further growth of E-sports that TL is all about.)

Not true at all. I definitely found the story to make the world very "dark", however, I can say with ease that Diablo II itself (in terms of the art style) wasn't literally "dark". It was quite bright at times and there was never a moment where I couldn't see everything on my screen. In the original Diablo you had some instances where you weren't 100% sure what was moving over there, but you didn't get that in Diablo II unless you turned the lighting down significantly. I really feel like it just comes down to that - so many players are just nostalgic. Without knowing the story of D3 at all, you don't get that dark/grim/gothic feeling from it that you got from D2. If you took a random stranger and showed them a screenshot of D2, they would probably say it's not particularly "dark", but people that got immersed in the game thought it was because of the atmosphere the entire game set. It's not simply the art style, it's also the story, gameplay, and enemies you fight, and you can't judge that until it comes out. Right now the game looks great.

I disagree, The amount of effort to moderate the forum is not that much, and if they are having problems with staffing I'm pretty sure there are people with reputation that could step up for the role. The beta will be out soon, this will cause a huge amount of people to flock towards the game, and many of them being from TL, keeping the community together is far more important. Regardless creating a subforum is simply just giving us a way to talk about different concepts of the game with out trying to read through 3 pages of other conversations to get to it. And its a Blizzard game, SC2 + D3 are like friends, they hold hands and frolick through blood filled fields skipping over empty shells and dead bodies. ^.^
