it most likely will be a source engine game since they wont want to unveil something like source engine 2 or a brand new engine without showing it on half-life 1st. hopefully it will be counter-strike 2, but it might be something with duke nukem, no? wasnt there a thread about it that had a link to some teaser image of duke's face on a valve webpage?

what most likely happened was that they decided to redo ep 3 from the start on a new engine, and probably make it half-life 3. the time frame doesnt work for a ep 3 on source engine (way too long) and it doesnt work for a brand new engine (not long enough). I dont think any half-life game will be there

Yeah...it's been sort of floating around for a while. EALA is making the Single Player, DICE is having free reign over Multiplayer.
