The few builds in his recent games seem random as fuck, but I'll try to keep tabs on it. He seems to be basically trying shit out in ranked, playing it by ear based on the game(since Kog can be pretty effective as a physical damage or magic damage dealer, I suppose a hybrid but of all the builds I've played I like it the least). My first 'plan' is to get me some Arpen quints and rush a cleaver, but I'm actually(ashamed about this) not sure the order arpen works. If reduction is first there's no way that works like I want it to(rune page + Q taking armor to 0 on all but armor stacked tanks, cleaver reduction = -60 after 5 attacks). Also it doesn't bode well that 'the best Kog' you've seen(I know you didn't say he's amazing, just the best you've seen) is barely 50% with the champ. But that's why I really want to play through what will probably be a decent struggle and hope to come out with something good. Other champs went through that before it clicked and 'the build' was found.

Now, I know some of the things I have to work on, but you guys all seem to be A LOT better than I am so, anyway you can give someone willing to learn some advice. I mean, I'm working on my last hits, knowing when to be aggressive and when not to, and I'm starting to buy wards every game and trying to look at my mini-map a lot more. Just really, I know I have a lot of problems with my game and well, want to know if there's anything that I might not even think of that might help me out some. Anything would be appreciated.

You can't check your elo in non-ranked games. The irc thing they had (or used to have, I never used it myself) was just for giggles. One tip that might be helpful is to ping out your mias, rather than type them. It sounds like you are doing everything right, I'd have to see you play to give you more advice. The main thing I'd say is to learn all the characters skills, and their relative ranges, so you at least have an idea of when it's safe to be aggressive and when it's dangerous.

Yes you can, you can check the log files stored on your computer. It's not 'official' but your rank is clearly stored there.

2) Find the most recent log 3) Search "Unranked" 4) Look at your Unranked Elo Its based on when your last log was made, so might not be accurate for your last few games. But ya, I'm just trying to get back to being good (I was before I left, lol...) but ya, currently trying to learn new champs so might as well try and learn other things too. Apparently I can't play udyr, but i'm a sick amumu, janna, and kass... heh.

The only problem is that Olaf is so beast that I tend to play him as his namesake - a berseker... so I end up getting myself killed because I just get too eager go and smash things. Urge to kill... RISING!

It takes a long time to learn to play her, and even then, she's not super-strong. I'd recommend against picking her up.

I can't do udyr myself lol. Amumu is really strong in ranked games, so keep at him; Janna is good too, but I wouldn't count on teammates in ranked games until you get past 1500.

Also screw that if you're in solo queue most people are pretty competent above 1400, it's just that they're very, very prone to off games.

U can look at others by looking at their profiles as well, just check to see whether the kills match up

Definitely the easiest jungler I've tried so far and a pretty decent ganker. I feel like I transition into the midgame much better than when laning. RISING! basic tactic with ye olde loaf, just pop ult, chug elixers and charge straight for their back line, when ur teammates start streaming in, it completely throws the enemy into utter chaos

Basically if ur pinging, my first assumption (and i think most other ppl too, but not sure) is that you want someone to go there, i.e. you want a gank, or need some1 to cover the lane, so having that as mia call is bad. In general, you really want to have a bit of text accompanying pings, simply cause pings are completely ambiguous, or could even be a mistake (happens to me all the time when im on vent, alt is the push to talk button)
