I really need to get back into playing this game, it's been a few weeks  . Any placement on Malazar (or however you spell that name...) as a caster? Is he up there with Annie/Fiddle (I don't recall seeing any CC though...) or is he just another caster? | ||

Also the majority of Mal players I've seen suck at him. He's one of the best gankers in the game (because of his bind duration) - yes Cleanse screws him up but if you know they have Cleanse you can always wait until they Cleanse someone else's gunk. Re: Poppy. I hate playing with Poppy on my team because she doesn't tank (teams tend to ignore her because they can't do anything about her) and Cleanse REALLY screws her up (DI -> Cleanse -> O crap). She's a great pubstomper IMO, though, because she'll mess with anyone who auto-attacks the closest target, and if your team is sufficiently set up for a 4v4 fight (assuming you can drag one with you or take one out of the fight with you) then she's okay. She's much, much more of a "win more often" hero in that sense because if she's ahead, it's really hard to knock her down aside from a nice Cleanse (as she'll always kick one down and then escape), but if she's behind she'll DI someone and either get Cleansed or get killed/CC'd by the hero she DI'd. Re: Europe As previously mentioned, up until the past month the EU client was run by some random 3rd party company that apparently sucked. Riot took matters into their own hands recently, and I'm guessing it's been much better since. The list is sparse because the majority of players play on the US client and because I hadn't been keeping track of a separate list, so some EU people will still be listed in the US list until otherwise told. | ||

Edit: Unless I'm playing a Jungler I always bring Cleanse, no matter what hero I play, for instance. O, wait, except for Kassadin, I bring Ignite on him (because he's a Vulture), and I think I forego Cleanse on Katarina as well, but you get the point. | ||

I don't play Poppy myself but I think Sheen works into her abilities pretty well from what I've seen. | ||

You're a squishy as well as a prime target due to your obnoxious point-blank AoE, and an easy one because they don't have to come to you (you go to them), so there're two modes of thought: one is to be the infested terran and just suck it up and die (lets you use your ult in peace, too) in the middle of their team, the other is to actually try to maintain some semblance of survivability. With regards to survival items Rylai is okay, other alternatives include Catalyst (and thus Banshee or Rod of Ages) and Zhonya (probably the preferred item for Karthus players). I would NOT recommend snowball items (Mejai etc.) because Karthus isn't known for survivability :p That's why his passive is the way it is. | ||

Poppy is pretty strong if you can use her to burst down a caster really quickly or tank a tower for a few seconds but after that her sustained dps falls off very quickly. She's much much stronger on Twisted Treeline (the 3v3 map) because there are so many more walls to break people's faces on. Poppy is a pretty strong champion killed but she sucks at farming minions which makes her a lot weaker than most melee | ||
