A single subforum should work. We can have stickies for Strats, In-house games, etc.

Yeah, but thats more work lol.
If its going to be a semi-private forum I guess no sub-forums would be fine. I'd just have to throw in the fact that there really shouldn't be more than 1 thread per idea or shit will get messy really fast (ie 4 threads about a single champion is dumb).

oh wait, so is this going to be like the Mafia forum then? If you're not added to the "list" you can't see it under the Forum layout? actually what i think we're gonna do is have it just like an invisible forum, meaning it doesn't show up on the forum index, but is public read/write otherwise. i'll post the link here and leave this thread open for a few days, you guys can bookmark it and circulate it yourselves.
Very exciting! Sounds like it will be much easier to keep this place organized and more easily searchable. I think one of the reasons so many people ask for advise on champs rather than searching the wiki is because the wiki is never quite up to date with the latest discussions and it is a royal pain to try and find that one post you remember about x hero.

I will gladly help mod the forum - I'm on TL for many hours of the day and have experience modding from other sites as well, though they were on a smaller scale. While I may not be the best LoL player in the world I do have the time to dedicate and I don't think player skill should determine mod status - also, if you look you would see most of my post count is from this thread.
(this should imply I would like to be a member of the forum)

If we get a whole forum and not a subforum are we going to get a LoL tag in the stream list? i doubt its very hard to implement

We can mod ourselves imo. DotA and Travian never got its own subforums and both those threads were huge for their time. I rather not bug the TL site coders for more than we need. Cause I mean some of those "subforums" are going to be really shitty (e.g. strategy? I mean there's only so many viable builds for each champion). A single sticky for that purpose will suffice.

I think some sub-forums would be the way to go. Esp concerning hero guides or discussions.
