I don't know why infamous floppers like Pierce, Fisher, Varejao (who aren't even superstars) can still get rewarded for flopping over so many years.

Damn, Rayray and Paul beter start hitting 2nd half, this can't go for too long. Glad KG found his ways in the paint.

I don't know how you compare Varejao flopping and Pierce flopping, it's completely different. At least Pierce is one of the best in the game at drawing those fouls, his flopping only puts an accent on it. Varejao flops every time he drops the ball.

Besides this series has been atrociously reffed both ways so I'm sure even David Stern doesn't want a repeat of 03-07 NBA days. f you watch closely enough, there hasn't been one play without fouls away from the ball, hacking on drives and so on. The refs can't call all of them (or else it would end up being a one on one game in the second quarter, with Williams and Powell going at it), so they have to call only ones that they find more offensive, and then there are things that are cumulative like flopping, complaining, trying to match numbers of fouls to both team to not appear biased, etc. The only way is an extra ref viewing the camera feeds... otherwise people will be rewarded for acting skills and knowing how to handle the refs.
