Well unless Pierce steps up his game it's more like a big 2.... ...Orlando series and Game 1? KG hasn't been showing up since ECF. But you're slamming Pierce for one game? Did you slam Allen for his performance in Game 1 too? Pierce forgo a lot of his shot attempts for his teammate Allen. Man, you are funny. :r Pierce didn't do much of anything offensively in game 1, either. He had a bunch of garbage time points that inflated his stats quite a bit. When Artest guarded him, Pierce had 11 points.

actually, pierces point / shot ratio wasnt bad considering, 10 pts on 11 shots.
Kobe chucked up 20 shots and came down with 21 points, so not a big difference.
Right, but half his points and almost all those FTs came in the fourth. It was already a 20 point game at that point and the L.A. D was more lax. He was a non-factor offensively for the first three quarters.
actually his point per shot was better in the first half then when i mentioned, he was 6 pts, on 5 shots, it was all on free throws but creating contact and getting shots still you arent going to shoot a high % in the finals, he did okay for as many looks as he got, it wasnt until the third when they tried to establish Garnett and Pierce when he played terrible offense, but still great D.
I don't know why, but I thought you were talking about game 1 for some reason. Ignore my last post.
point/shot ratio isn't a great way too look at it, gotta consider that he turned it over twice as well as the possessions he used to get the foul shots. so it's 11+2+3=16 possessions used for 10 pts, that's pretty terrible, i think only new jersey had a team points per possession ratio less than 1:1 this year and they were like .99:1
pierce really needs to be a shooting threat to punish lal for shading ray allen and still clog the lane so rondo doesn't hurt them too much. he's 2/12 from beyond 15ft so far vs lakers, and a number of those have been wide open
Game time. If Artest can shut down Peirce again I think Odom has a good game and Kobe will stay out of trouble. Down to the wire, but LA in the 4th.
Yeah. Get hype. Pierce should come up with a big one.
Odom is bound to have a good game eventually........I think? lol we'll see
It's early but wow, Celtics looking good.
god i don't expect the lakers to win this game but i hope they put up a good fight, we need to even out the record at least 2-2, before game 5.

I want to hear everybody who complained about fouls to be complaining about crappy touch fouls. Oh my god, Rondo's fingertip looked like it may have brushed Kobe's elbow accidentally, obviously heavily affected his shot.

I'm more upset Fisher flopped a foul on Perkins when he actually set a good screen.

Game 2 was strange but pretty exciting to watch. Game 3 looks very slow.

Fisher flops more than Ginobilli while being the dirtiest player on the floor (which is a hard thing considering Artest and the Celtics). This comes as a surprise?

Well it is because the refs KNOW he flops. It's just like how Pierce flops and they call it and you're like come the fuck on.

Please share whatever you are smoking. He had inflated points but he has proven himself to be a part of the Big 3 in the Orlando series.

Fisher's feet were outside the restricted area and Allen was already in the air. See what I mean?
