gasol and bynum are averaging 40 combined on over 60% shooting in the 1st 2 games withs no indication that the celtics can stop it, some of the jumpshots kobe's taking are just godawful shots. i have significant money on the lakers to win this series and kobe is really hurting his team by trying to take over when it's completely not needed. kobe is 100 times more useful either playing off gasol or taking advantage of extreme post overloading, his decision to "take over" doesn't make any strategic sense

Dumb of me to apply a strict definition of superstar around so many Boston fans -__- I meant in the sense of being a franchise player to build around. Generally most people don't celebrate putting up great numbers on bad teams because a lot of people did that without much recognition. It shouldn't be an insult either.

This is really getting OT but those two never played on a team as good as Pierce's the last 3 years. Carter and TMac always stepped up in the playoffs (when they were good) so I'm not sure how you can see a lack of determination. You can look at their emotions or stats in the playoffs and see otherwise. TMac and Carter definitely had tons of clutch performances too, not sure what you are talking about.

Yeah about Rondo, why don't Doc tell him straight up to give up the shot at the end of the quarter, this keeps happening every game. Just let either Pierce or Allen do this, it seems so logical (or let Nate close like he did first quarter).

That's why he is so good, because he can make very difficult shots seem easy. Though tonight he isn't hitting, which is really hurting the Lakers like a previous poster just said. I think if the Celtics are going to win this though Allen is gonna have to makes some big shots, although Rondo looks like he is gonna start heating up.
