That was a mistake. they meant sf4
Is that a joke that I don't get? Because they do mean it they even reiterated it in a newer tweet.

Shows how little i know about the SF scene. I went to Cal Poly Pomona, and literally played against gootecks on a daily basis in both SF3:3S and MvC2, and never knew who he was. Just got rocked by him over and over again with the rare win now and then using urien. >.<

Oh he definitely didn't play competitively, it's cuz after he'd stomp me flat in sc3:3s i'd sometimes try to regain my dignity by playing single player in mvc2, but one day, i musta raged at him or something, so he just gave up the game on sf3:3s came over and beat my ass in mvc2 just to shame me. i ended up wandering over to kof 11 to cry my tears before i finally beat him cuz he didn't even know how to play it. he was like, how do you even play this piece of shit game. LOL.
This is what happens when Justin Floe and Combofiend don't show up Dx everyone ELSE gets blown up by phoenix. Although to be fair I think only Justin really stops phoenix well.

Holy crap Hulk is a monster. Decent assist but he really hammers people who try to rush down too much. One mistake bam their health is gone. And I have Dante/Wesker who I find really good at getting in at the spammers that hulk has some trouble dealing with.
I'd say, nerf Phoenix. They nerfed Sentinel, why not Phoenix? Those finals for WNF were ridiculous. Dark Phoenix X-factor with 5 meter taking out entire teams out. I didn't see any Dark Phoenix die. Anyone half decent with her WILL take out the other team.

Eh, there are ways to fight her still right now, and she hasn't been dominating tournaments. Gengis had a couple opportunities that he missed to kill her in those matches, and he still won overall.
If anything, I think Wesker and a few others are starting to really get ubiquitous. Phoenix, for the time being anyway, is enough of a liability that most people are sticking with more consistent characters still.
The Sentinel nerf was foolishness, I don't want them to keep it up =P
The worst thing about Phoenix is the mirror match, imo. It's disgustingly random, every time it happens.
Edit: kinda sad, people are starting to wise up to the desk troll team and not call assists vs my spencer =(
Add on to that, pheonix is alot harder to play against in an event like WNF because crowd noise affects your ability to time punishes based on sound, "dodge this" = punish after the d sound, "Hyah" = punish after the H sound "i can't control it, phoneix inferno" = punish at the n of inferno.
WNF doesn't really have that much crowd noise though, its not a major, its just a group of players, so if anything it'd be easier there than anywhere else.
