SF2Turbo Akuma was ignored at first, but people realized that he was severely broken, and thus proceeded to get banned from every tournament. I think calling the banhammer now seems ill-informed.. I remember SFIV tournaments banned Seth, but it turned out that Sagat, not Seth, was OP. Super Turbo Akuma was obviously broken from the start and anything short of that hasn't seen a ban in fighting game tournaments. It just doesn't happen. I forget which dumb tournament in Europe banned Seth, but it just the one tournament. Pretty sure Seth was banned simply because he was a boss character and had to be unlocked anyhow.

Taskmaster actually has an unblockable, on block though. His Z pattern if blocked, has an unblockable followup with H.

Why is the spooky stream always so much better? So much less hype on the wnf stream, even though they even got jwong in it. Showing empty rooms with no crowds to see or hear makes for a pretty boring watch =( Chris G's team Scooby Doo was pretty neat, but I don't really understand a lot of his choices for when he brought in Daphne. I was under the impression as soon as you have 5 bars, just tagging her in to go fight was the best course of action because the opponent is forced to engage, since your assists will have enough life to let you win by timeout if they try to just run. Chris G was pretty consistently just saving her for last, even burning meters with other chars before she got forced out. Part of me thinks maybe he doesn't realize the seemingly better gameplan, but a bigger part of me thinks he knows something I don't D: Zucco had an odd team mix as well (Taskmaster, HsienKo, Morrigan), pretty awesome grand finals. Lot of matchups I'd never seen before. Gonna have to spend some time messing around with the dog, didn't realize it did so much damage. Same with Wesker, he's finding his way onto a lot of great teams.

Plus WNF is in a ballroom so its more open hence why you don't see the crowds that are on the side watching SSF4 or MvC3 or playing casuals. meanwhile spooky streamed that tournament in like, a small store. As for the "hitbox" I don't erally suggest it, I mean nobody uses it but that guy, he tries marketing it but I don't think anyone really buys it. I play vanilla SF4 on my keyboard, and don't get me wrong i prefer guaranteed easy inputs lol, but even me, i'd always go for a fight stick first. if i HAD to use it, i'd just ask for one of those keyboards you can plug in to an xbox and use that though.

Yea spooky's stream was in st. marks. Its expensive to get a big ball room in nyc.

But anyone know of any Youtube commentators who commentate competitive MvC3? Or at least a place to watch some high level play? Thanks
