Clakey vs Sako was insane. Goes to show though that its just like, whoever can get more 50/50's strung together in a round (not to take away from Clakey, since the execution of the vortex time and time again is absolutely unreal)

Anyhow, Jwong got downloaded there. His entire strat that final was to get in the first hit against wolvie, x-factor, kill off wolvie, snap in phoenix and kill her before 5 meter. Then Tokido was like, "Imma do the exact same shit" and ran a train on Justin's Wolvie.

Indeed. Tokido doesn't even play the usual Phoenix bullshit (trash 2 characters, put all your money on Phoenix to win the game). He beasts just as much with Wolverine and his Sentinel isn't half bad either.
But JWong honestly didn't play very well that game. He was dropping combos all over the place.

been a fan of tokido ever since the "urien is BROKEN" match but ugh.
oh well justin looked shocked and the last few matches he just died to tokido's wolverine (who i feel can still compete at the best without phoenix)

Lot of favorites for MVC3 being upset on both coasts. Wong losing to Tokido and Combofiend was just eliminated by Clakey D. Interesting watching both streams and seeing the difference in the types of teams each coast runs.

Zlasher can correct me on this, but I do not think Clakey D beating Combofiend is an upset. Clakey D has been one of the top players in the West Coast for a long time.
