I can't recall everything he said, but it was seriously salty lol. Then he had a little emo phase, then more salt, then emo again. It was pretty funny, I totally been there with those emotions.
Thats the video, but that video doesn't include when he thought he was offstream, and ranted for a few minutes thinking he was just conversing. Where is that vid!
honestly i've been there in tournaments when i first started going. felt good playing online vs scrubs and man did i get a rude awakening (NEC 9) first ever tournament match i lost to a scrubby ryu who i felt i shouldn't beaten and after that loss i wanted to blame his friend who was cheering on him. eventually grow out of it.
i just got home and didn't watch it but but dam james. you've been around since like pre-ST right? and he's like what 40'ish? :/
edit: woot got down a new HG loop that'll work on little chars. [SJ IAD j.BC s.C l.grav]. can;t get nearly as many as the typical SJ ADDF j.C s.C lp grav. but its a bit easier imo

Poor guy. I saw his match where he was almost winning but the opponent made a comeback, and after he lost I think someone asked why didn't he block (or something) and James couldn't say anything probably because he was already quite mad. Then after the video above he ranted (still audible in the stream) that he's usually doing well offstream but everytime his play got streamed he gets blown up.
Dude be crazy. His mechanics alone could probably carry him to like top32 or top16 like whenever Tokido played MvC3 in a major (I think he did that twice?), but once he met someone that actually knows the game (Jwong, Floe, Combofiend, Marn, Jago, Yipes, ClakeyD, Clockwork, Chris G, maybe even people like Noel Brown or Tatsu), he will get blown up.
Hey guys. since the netcode of MK9 is pretty bad atm im looking for a new beat em up. Is the MvC3 netcode like SF4 that it nearly feels like an offline match or better/worse?

Looking forward to it tho.
...Mechanics in SF and Marvel are very different. Daigo is the best in SF because of his meter management decision making and footsies, some of those tools matter VERY little in Marvel. He won't have any good practice in Japan for Marvel 3 so it'll just be him watching videos and goign in training mode to copy it.
I will put down big sidebets that Daigo won't top 4 (he has a chance at top 8 with the way brackets shape out sometimes. But you're nailing it about Tokido. Tokido at Final Round was pretty bad, got carried HARD by justin wong in 3v3's and in singles he just had simple brackets and still didn't do well. Tokido's "mechanics alone" couldn't do much for him and his are right up there with Daigos. In Japan Daigo is considered "SSS" while Tokido and Mago are "SS" class. And the difference is Tokidos always played like every fighting game and did well, Daigo is pretty much a SF specialist, with some GG on the side back a few years ago.
I played mvc3 for the first time last night and really enjoyed it, ordered it myself when i got home xD So far I like doom and dante but ive been looking on the internet for a third character to add but all I can find is "pick 1-2 characters you like and add a good assist for them", but I have no idea who this might be, can anyone give me some tips?
Heard Viscant stating in WNF yesterday that he and two others in San Diego (forgot their names) would money match $500 any West Coast players in 3vs3. All they have to do is go to San Diego and bring cash. There, the rumor is true. He even said Justin Wong can play. I guess they're confident.

And they would get exposed by Justin, I honestly don't think that Justin has played serious at any WNF yet while the others look like they're trying pretty hard.

Those two other people better be Jago and Remix/Noel Brown/Chris G or something.

And even then Justin could still OCV their asses.
can marvel 3 really be considered a game where you can ocv people?
