![]() its not that im not happy to see eu up there but it seems a little high for tekk and over consider, they do have a decent number of set wins over decent players tho tekk with fuzzyness, eikelmann, android, duck, reaper, amsah, zhu, jeapie, overtriforce over with Porkchops, reaper, tekk, westballz plus eu's like callew, zgetto etc. problem is most of their wins are over other eu players but over's resume is super slim t_t

but over has a pretty good reputation from the past, so panelists probably gave him the benefit of the doubt

Looking forward to a big 2016 of Smash, I hope Melee continues to grow and gain more mainstream acceptance. I also hope Hbox wins a major in the US. I didn't know there were any other UK Melee guys in TL other than BrTarolg. Also are you saying Tekk has wins over Fuzzy? Because iirc Fuzzy has a dominant record over Tekk so that shouldn't really count. Fuzz beat him at DH Winter :/. In fact what I really hope for in 2016 is the return of Fuzzy to the scene ![]()

BrTarolg is much more notable than me lol Also yeah if I said tekk beat fuzzy that means I found it on LP, I'll take a look to see what tournament it was. All those I said were set wins btw. e: he beat fuzzy at heir2

Sad times. Don't think I was ever going to win that set. Forte recap/lessons for me: 1. 9:30 PM pools were ass. Seeding in doubles also kinda suspect. My round 1 doubles match was against another team from the same state. Tournament was very well run otherwise -- shit started on time and people who were late got DQed. It was sweet. 2. Never been so nervous to play before in my life. It's to be expected from my first out of state regional but I had to use the restroom like 3 times in 30 minutes before my pool, I felt so much anxiety. I also really wanted to save Wobbles for last in my pool since in the RR I didn't want to have the pressure to beat everyone else but we had to play our match ASAP. I expect those nerves will fade with time. It was especially annoying though because I was spamming the fuck out of fsmash and just couldn't get myself to stop. 3. Really wish I had pushed for more commentary slots on the TLOC stream. I have a lot to work on in that department but a lot of the people on there were pretty sketchy or said things that were outright wrong. 4. + Show Spoiler + With Wobbles winning the whole damn thing I really wish I had gotten that game from him in pools. Could have been a potentially awesome point for me. 5. Texas bigger state so more people and more strong players, but also more scrubs. Everyone in my pool played very poorly, it seemed like nobody would DI fthrow/dthrow correctly and would just give me an fsmash out of it. Was watching some forte vods, two of your pools sets are on the tloc youtube- vs wobbles and vs a falcon https://www.youtube.com/user/TourneyLocator/videos

My loss to Wobbles wasn't as bad as I thought it was and my win over Abraxas wasn't as good as I thought it was (I actually looked up that dude on youtube before forte and saw that he plays Sheik, idk why he went Falcon). Took a few other notes about gameplay specific stuff too but yea

There's one ice climbers player in our state so I have a bit of an idea what to do in the matchup but I was playing very nervous during pools and spammed so much more fsmash than I would have liked. Normally I prefer to play more patiently in the matchup but that set also made me realize some things like how valuable rushing them down can be.

You may be thinking that I’m trying to make it seem that Axe had a substandard 2015. Axe had an amazing 2015, it was just a bit rockier than past years. Axe had a solid start to 2015. reads like a bad highschool essay lmao

yea the blurbs were all pretty awful and some of the rankings in the 30s+ are pretty questionable. It's still nice to have a national power ranking though.

but their two scores are so close the rankings really mean nothing

Plup is becoming like a new Leffen, in the sense he keeps getting scarier and scarier to play against. He is slowly getting the super saiyan aura. And I love it. Druggedfox, Ice & Swedish Delight, great performances. If they keep it up, they are going to rise even higher on the list and appear more on everybody's radar. On the other hand, poor performances by Westballz & Shroomed in both drafts and singles. Very poor. GG everybody.
