+ Show Spoiler + apparently if you lift a character off the ground during the knockback he gets off shield any subsequent vertical knockback you give him until he touches the stage won't go through and he will only take horizontal knockback | ||

From what I know or what I been hearing is that for the glitch to happen, Luigi must use a smash attack on a shield. Then must get sent off stage by him sliding across the stage while his attack animation is still in progress then this somehow causes the game to think he is still on the stage because he slides off the stage. Basically.....Abate won the lottery lol. He a great player but man can't help but feel for S2J. | ||

it was super fun although the venue got SO MUCH LESS HYPE and SO MANY PEOPLE LEFT when it was confirmed hbox armada finals hahahahaha my friend's flight was cancelled so he got in super late and I had to pick him up super late which meant WE MISSED POOLS I'm mad about that but oh well it was still really fun and with 0 practice there's no way I do much in a double elim pool lol | ||

When you are interrupted in this sliding state, ICG activates. Currently, this can happen if you get hit, jump, or fall through a platform. Luigi is an obvious candidate for ICG to activate on because of how low his traction is. The effect is cancelled when you grab ledge or land on stage in an actionable state. | ||
