Just played through it and meh the music was pretty boring for the most part Background and danmaku was really pretty though None of the characters really stood out either | ||

idk about minecraft much, i didn't know there were musical blocks anyway, how impressive is that really? For example i think u can only carry like 99 of some block at a time or something, so did he have to go back and forth or something? did he have to collect all those blocks etc.? | ||

The server that was made on is a test server, so the resources are no issue. The impressive thing is him tuning it and constructing logic circuits so well. | ||

I've posted the midi/mp3 of the original sheet music here twice (not actual performance), and also posted the only 1 good cover of it that I could find (it was by bakaneko). Once I hear the beginning, I'm just like, oh yesss.... This arranger (abab) is absolutely amazing, the jazzy rhythms in this are just perfect. I want to learn this piece someday, the notes themselves aren't that hard compared to how epic it sounds, but the problem is the voicing, making sure all the right notes are soft and all the right notes are loud (when you hear the recording, you hear a lot of "background" sound, that is created by many many "filler" notes played very softly with the pedal on). time to listen to the rest I wasn't quite happy with the ending Bakaneko made for the song (abab doesn't usually make endings to his song, only downpoint of him...) although her recording was better than the original sheet music since it faded way before the song was actually done. Actually now that I've finished the song, this one also fades... wtf i thought they sounded different, but this is the same exact recording abab showed. Now i'm wondering if abab really arranged that, since his sheet was uploaded 1 year or so before this recording was uploaded... it wouldn't make sense though, for a piano album to just use someone else's fake recording though eh... so this means abab didn't arrange it? T_T fuck | ||
