Idle thought time!
Sometimes, when I'm listening to Touhou arrangements, I picture the characters themselves as the band playing the song. Maybe I'm just weird like that. It's gotten to the point where there's a defined character list for the band, too. >_>
Reisen is usually on drums, while Marisa gets the bass guitar. Reimu gets the rhythm guitar, and Patchouli is on the keyboard. Either Tenshi or Byakuren takes the lead vocal spot, and the lead guitar goes to Sanae.

Hey guys so idk how many of you actually play SC2... there's this Sub-Form Team League going on, there will be 8 teams but so far only 3 of the invited sub-forums have organized teams, so basically any "large" thread or sub-forum can sign up as long as they organize a team.
Who is interested? If there's not enough I'll just organize one for LoL and play with them

My understanding was that only 8 subforums were eligible to compete, and that those were already named. I was asked to play under the Minecraft banner, but alas, my game sense and mechanics are worse than that of a gopher with rickets.

And by the way... I've literally never heard a vocal version of Crimson in the Black Sea ~ Legendary Fish. Until seven minutes ago. Fortunately, the circle who did it, Kraster, is quite good.

The vocalist in particular, Ne;on, is very, very good. She sort of reminds me of Haruka Shimotsuki's vocals in Schwarzweiß. I don't exactly know why, since their voices aren't particularly similar, but I just sorta get that vibe.

really glad people are posting arranges that they love in here. i used to use various search engines and databases to find arranges of songs i like, and then download a whole bunch and listen through them to see if i like them. if i do, i download the rest of that circle's albums and listen to those too, but it's a pretty tedious (although kinda fun) process, especially for more obscure songs. i used to totally hooked on a couple songs from the pc98 games (mugetsu's theme, gengetsu's theme, sariel's first theme, reincarnation, to name a few), and i was trying to find vocal arranges (or just arranges, because there are so few of them). only found like 3 for sariel, and not too many for the others. reincarnation has a couple more, but not too many good vocal ones.
but now i can look through this thread
aeres keep posting them especially ones of songs that don't have a lot of arranges done for them. like infinite nightmare.

Nah, sorry. The only decent vocal for Doll of Misery that I know of is by CYTOKINE, and even then, it's not their best work.

I stumbled across the best arrangement of Oriental Memory of Forgathering Dream I've ever heard a little while back. I'm not exactly sure why I like it so much, though. The tempo just seems perfect.

Literally nothing happened. It was just... GSL Code A with casters Moletrap and Reisen. Exactly how you'd expect it to go, except Reisen wasn't too good at casting. Aside from Reisen's inadequacies, the casting was fairly normal (though to be honest, I don't remember too much of what they said). On the other hand, the games were fucking weird.
The match they casted was Boxer vs. Ret. Ret won the first game handily with mass Overlords (wtf), got crushed by a Carrier rush the second (wtf), and won the third, but just barely. Moletrap was in the middle of a debate with Reisen about whether Ghosts counter High Templar, or High Templar counter Ghosts, when I woke up.
Anyway, might as well share a song. This is a particularly groovy rendition of Corpse Voyage ~ Be of Good Cheer!, by IZMIZM.
