It's a sci-fi con, but there were still a few anime cosplayers. There were even 2 touhou cosplays (Reimu and Yukari, both females). We caught them wandering around close to our booth late in the last day, so we called to them to ask for pictures + get them to browse our touhou stuff (once again, our booth is only booth with touhou). They looked pretty excited to find touhou merch, and just as they were starting, some guy asked them for a picture, which they agreed to. He proceeded to hand the camera to me, and wrap his arms around both girls with a stupid fucking grin on his face. I take the picture and hand the camera back to him, then watch helplessly as the girls, obviously disgusted, brush off their shoulders and hurry away without buying anything. The guy proceeds to walk towards the booth across from us does the same to another female cosplayer. God, what an asshole, we could've totally sold something there. I hope that wasn't anybody here, because that was a really really creepy act (though I doubt anyone here would be that dumb) | ||

(also YOU should've taken a picture, after apologizing for that jerk being a douche, and then offering them your fine merchandise) | ||

"Hey man $2 or please buy something kekek" Woulda maybe helped the girls get an excuse for the dude to gtfo as well. Assuming that he really was acting creepy based on given info. Wasn't there that really good site with every single remix listed for every single touhou/ZUN track? What was the website URL I forget sorry. It was really plain looking and white or something. I was just a 3rd party. In hindsight, the most I could've done is ask him if he has permission to be getting touchy with the girls and refuse to take his picture. Anyway, I'm more angry we missed 2 sure sales than not whiteknighting for the girls  Not sure if that makes ME an asshole in return.Caller, gimme sources plz plz Normally I just google mediafire links, lol. | ||

My sister's friend made some touhou pins to sell at our booth. Probably wasn't the best con to start off in, because barely anyone knew touhou (as expected at a con targetted towards Batman fans). The sad thing was, those 2 touhou cosplayers looked like they were interested in the pins before they got chased away. | ||
