If I did not waste 4 lives on stage 5 I woulda had you!!"). the PC98 games as well as 6 are all super hard if you need to see your hitbox or super free if you've played enough to know where it is. And don't let people scare you off, 1cc on normal is possible for anyone with a little practice in any Touhou game. | ||

So if maybe Caller (hi) or d3 (hi) wouldn't mind giving me a little advice, thanks! o/ \o don't just leave a man hanging touhou games don't really have deep plots, though they do build on each other; 6-8 and 10-13 each have a very loose plot arc (if you could really call it that) 8 is the easiest to start with, 6 is the "beginning" of the series plotwise - I think 6 isn't that hard, but not having a hitbox makes it incredibly beginner unfriendly, so I'd say play 8 if you're just curious, 6 if you're serious I dunno if I'd call touhou addicting, but it is challenging, and I don't think I've ever really practiced a single-player game as much | ||

this begs the question - where are the western musicians? everything I've heard come out of japan is at least of decent quality, whereas most western remixes I stumble across on youtube kind of blow (granted, that's the nature of youtube... and the west...) speaking of western artists and OCRemix... Jillian Aversa (nee Goldin) aka pixietricks of OCRemix fame has done a touhou track I do enjoy most of her work, but I'm not sure how I feel about this remix | ||

But to answer you, nah I'm still on the same job, but my position requires me to support no less than 3 tech teams, and one team just finished up at their previous site last week.  edit: wait, we had a dedicated irc channel before? :O | ||

I just 1cc'd th13 on normal after consistently derping up stages 5-6 for the last few weeks so now I can say I've normal cleared all of the easy touhou games (8, 10, 13) I think the remaining order is like... pcb, eosd, ufo/sa I just wish prismrivers were easier to practice, but that long ass-stage gets tires me out every time | ||

That being said, I haven't played it that much yet, but twice I've beaten the 5th stage, and not gotten to the final stage. What am I doing wrong? >.> | ||
