That was beautiful! I loved the "All in the Family" feel. Definitely one of the most informative articles I have read in my short time here.

TLO just continues to win me over! I love that he doesn't feel the need to mass games (play more than 8 hours a day) to be good and he has priorities in his life. I feel like he is going to shake up more than the physical styles of play in SC2, he may very well redefine the requirements of being a progamer.

Okay. I am going to make my stand here.

These write ups are good. Great even. Especially individually. They are articulate, imaginative, and overall written with clear purpose in mind (don't underestimate the value of this).

However, these write ups, though different from each other in content, are thus only creating an illusion of originality. They all use the same archetype. Almost in every recent published FE or news article about the higher levels of leagues, there has to be a side story at the beginning, sometimes included in later bits in the article to make a parallel. I am kind of sick of story time. I want people to put more work and time into the direct (note: not metaphorical) information that needs to be sent across. I know there is no clear standard for what a FE is (it's usually just really good shit, objectively). But everyone is acting like there is. I miss the FE's that were written without the preconception of it becoming an FE. Those are the ones that lack this artistic "fluff" that in my opinion actually takes away from the message. It was refreshing the first few times. Now it is almost glue.

I'm sorry if this is a bit harsh or if I'm the only one that feels that way.

EDIT: Just wanted to reiterate after re-reading some of the player descriptions and interviews, that the content is simply fucking awesome and well done. It's that extraneous stuff that I feel is becoming redundant and unnecessary.
