Casy. We've seen it on the fotos allready and it's totaly understandabel. I think it's not only important for his redevelopement of his skills, but for his integration in the teams atmosphere too. KTF. The part where fifo mentioned that ktf tried to trade them off is really interesting. We all knew that something doesn't quite work in KTF. It came up here several times and it's an indicator that ktf know that they have to change things. Sometimes i get the feeling that some players kinda forget their responsebility as progamers. I don't know them of course. But i believe that when good players fall behind it's because a) they have personal problems (family, team atmosphere, etc) or b) they simply let it slide and totaly forget that they are indeed replaceable (over time). If you worked all your life as a progamer, and you saw how everything blew up around you, it's no wonder when you forget that behind all the nice things like fame and the playerhouse is acctualy tuff ass business with a crapload of money involved. SKT1. Same here. You just can't have a player around just for the heck of it. Just because you had success back in the day, doesn't mean you can let it slide. I really do hope kingdom finds the strife to renew himself. And not just kingdom. SKT1 struggles, oov showed real power recently but you just have to have more than two (and a half) players who basicaly keep the rest on a moderate level. I believe oov still has the flame. Last season i read a interview where he said he practiced so hard until his hands hurt. I believe there's much more going on in this guys head than just the "i have to win just because i'm a progamer". He's now the captain and i have the feeling he knows what that means. It's good that they reduced his work as a captain but there's still the captain boxer skt1 thing if you know what i mean. He's the big terran now for the team. CJ Entus. That's fantastic news in my eyes. Not only because it shows that they acknowledge their current form, but also that there is still fire in their eyes. I'm especialy happy for xellos. You allways get the feeling that he's kinda lost now. My respect for both of them. Work hard boys!

I never liked either, but they added a lot of color to the progaming scene. GoodFriend added colour to the pro scene? WTF are you smoking. GF never did anything except lose in one final and lose to one hatch slow hydras. He never made a pimp play, he won the odd TvP with nice two fac play, but other than that, he has ZERO personality and ZERO accomplishments. He is a salary sink and should stop playing. ChoJJa, he is a champion and manages to be a contender now and then. He also has personality (unlike bad friend). I could manage to see him come back. If not, between the two of them, ChoJJa will be the one to get to a new team, unless GF runs to wemade. HonestTea, I expect better from you!

Nobody is as boring and mediocre as GF. You can even call him the "champion" of mediocrity or the "most boring player in the history of starcraft." Unfortunately that very statement disqualifies him as being boring because he is in fact SO boring that he's not boring anymore. Our planned LiquiScoop playing card for GF read "If GoodFriend is in play, you must play with your hand face up."

A standard Terran with no real flair or inspiration, just solid mechanics. I'm siding with Mani here, I've NEVER hid my hatred for GF over the years and don't intend to now. He simply doesn't deserve to be playing in the upper echelon of progaming and he never has. GoodRiddence to GoodFriend. Mean, yes, but in the business of entertainment and sport there is no room for someone with zero personality, and completely mediocre skills.

I agree his results has not been very good lately but he's still an impressive gamer so i really hope he could come back quickly. I just love his style.

GoodFriend added color to the pro scene precisely because he was one of the best jobbers in the history of Starcraft. I mean... look at his list of memorable losses. You mentioned the Hallucination Recall on Parallel lines, the 1-hatch hydra/ling against Shark on New Cultivation, the schintillating fast tank push loss to July in the OSL finals... not to mention Death by Harassment to Rainbow, the Unusually Potent Mutalistsks of Yellow in OSL, and all the good stuff. By being a low personality, high efficiency gamer, GoodFriend became a memorable villian (in a different way than Savior is a villian) in the pro scene. Plus, I think it's unfair to call GoodFriend colorless. He was surely the master of the 2-fac (hmm... Iris?). He was the best at setting up contains since Gundam himself. Steve once said that GoodFriend was the player that terrified you when he was against your favorite player, and I totally agree with that. I guess I want him back so I can see him spectacularly lose again. Plus his career is slightly underrated. He is NOT one of the 1-fac/1-rax CC Terrans that have recently sprung up like weeds. (= GOODFRIEND IS NOT BIFROST) GoodFriend is actually an old school Terran who remembers the days before FD, before bunker rushes, before FE. So in a way, he has his own style. Consider him the Silver of Terran. And Iris has nothing to do with anything. Iris is actually more of an aggressive Xellos in my mind.
