Not to offend any fans, but Anytime is a much, much smarter player than Reach, and his deep strategy and mindgame-oriented style, coupled with a good-enough micro and macro, is Nada's worst nightmare. Of course anything can happen though...

That said, I can never see a toss being dominant in the same way as a terran or zerg, due to the high amounts of risk involved with this race in games. A crappy BO against a zerg or bad storms, missed scouting and you're toast. A botched attempt at breaking the terran push or failed harass and they'll can be toast as well.

moreover, people who can create a new playing style are very rare only them can dominate all others. since sAviOr win, whether Anytime or NaDa will take the OSL is not important. It's nice to see either the best new school toss vs the best new school zerg, or the dominationg 2nd gen terran vs the best zerg atm. i'd like to see Anytime vs sAviOr better though, coz the Genius has faced the Maestro many times

SO1 by sheer coincidence presented an ideal scenario for comparing Anytime and Pusan. Let's have a brief recap. In the challenge league leading up to SO1, Pusan was in playoffs with Rock and Boxer and lost. Anytime won his admittedly easier bracket and then beat Rock in the finals. Then, in the actual starleague, Pusan and Anytime happened to play many of the same players. The results were as follows: Pusan went 0-1 with Xellos, 2-3 with Boxer, and 2-3 with Iloveoov; Anytime went 2-1 with Xellos, 3-2 with Boxer, and 3-2 with Iloveoov (including the game Anytime lost in the group round when it didn't really matter since he was already qualified). The one argument in Pusan's favor (based on actual results and not subjective appraisals like "he has really good macro!!") is that he has since reached top 3 in a starleague (before falling into a slump himself). If you ask me, consecutive #4 and #3 isn't even close to winning the entire thing once. So even if you don't factor this current OSL into account, it is very hard to argue that Pusan is *historically* a better player than Anytime. Now, obviously nobody will seriously argue that Pusan is doing better than Anytime right now so if you want to deny that Anytime is the best "new school toss" you really don't have a lot to go on.

He did objectively bring a few new BO's into the thing, and this OSL run is a run through monsters also. DTs vs Yellow? Double Robo Oov? Pusan can't touch that. Plus... Anytime's Zealots > Pusans... Just maybe not in #

What I'm saying is Savior is somewhat overrated in this forum. Even if he's the best player right now (and I think he is), that doesn't mean Nada can't beat him in a bo5 - with any final score. But Savior did win. And the fact remains that Savior has an even or better record against every single major Terran he's played.

Then and only then will he have proven himself to be the top gamer of the moment. Otherwise, Savior's MSL win still makes Savior the stronger force in progaming. Winning the golden mouse will only secure NaDa's place as the all-time most dominant gamer, but all-time and right now are not the same thing. Savior still has a ways to go before he can be considered in the same all-time league as NaDa. But yeah, AnyTime is a smarter player than Reach. And he has a better micro-game as well (since he can pull off such risky tactics with dark templars). And on the macro-sense, could very well be on the same level (as he as shown time and time again, since SO1 Starleague)

I have already clarified the difference between "right now" and "all-time" so your argument has absolutely zero ground to stand on. Savior has been a more dominant force in progaming than NaDa for almost 2 years. Unless NaDa can prove me otherwise by beating Savior, then Savior is the stronger gamer right now.

It is true that savior has been more dominant these past two years than nada but you also need to look at lifetime stats and longevity. Savior just kind of came out of nowhere to win these msls and you can easily say this is the pinacle of his carreer up to this point. However, in Nada's era of dominance he achieved far more than Savior in the same amount of time. Also Nada is like 11 or 12-0 in his last tvzs, he is an absolute monster in this matchup. When he is on fire, Nada is better than boxer and oov in tvz. No zerg is ever safe to Nada in a bo5. Remember IOPS?
