Edit: Okay he didn't actually manage to stream until the voting closes (but he turned of only like 10 mins before the deadline so that's still great). He was very thankful for everyone who voted for him.

Even so, ShoWTimE is very good at PvP and I think he's going to put up a tough fight (and he has proven himself recently I think)...

Zest is facing ShoWTimE in his first match, and if he wins it then he's going to meet the winner of soO vs Maru. Tough chance really... Even so, ShoWTimE is very good at PvP and I think he's going to put up a tough fight (and he has proven himself recently I think)... Sharing the sentiment. Showtime 3-0 Stats recently and looked like he understands the matchup very well, Maru is Maru and soO before finals... I don’t have any hope this time for Zest . On the other hand if he gets past these 2 series it will be a nice mini-achievement in itself :-)

With that being said crazier things have happened before so we'll see. (and yes i don't think soO has any shot vs maru, at least zest plays toss )

But yeah can't see him doing anything against Maru after those gsl finals. I think we can safely write soO off. :p

i guess what many ppl dont get is that a transition in some situations to a third base isnt possible (like beeing 2 upgrades and 3 immortals behind). the only point i didnt get is how showtime did know in some parts that zest is so committed. sad is, that zest didnt prepare for showtime in particular: otherwise the canon rush fail could have been avoided.

Of course there's been trouble translating online to offline form for him, but the fundamental skill should be there for him to win the group and do well in this GSL.

If Zest had taken showtime seriously, then it would have been a 3-0 win for Zest. You could see how devastated he was after losing. I've been saying this - he is highly motivated right now and is about to go on an absolute tear. Any foreigner he meets at blizzcon will not be shown any mercy.
