Beat Hades-Hero-Neeb to get that far. Not bad at all. Am I the only one who doesn't like that fat slob Rifkin? User was warned for this post

You can say that Hero is better against Zerg and Terran but Hero has always had a problem with the top Toss players. Zest just beat the top foreign player around in Neeb. He didn't play ROOT herO, he played former Liquid HerO. A much lower level player.

Zest did beat herO (the former CJ one) 2-1 a few days ago to be fair, that plus gis wins against Classic and Neeb would indicate that his PvP isn't god awful

He must be retired he is not in the top 20 in circuit wcs points. Hey a win is a win at this stage for Zest. 2-0 vs Neeb is very impressive.

Stupid small mistakes are really hurting him in PvZ like the last game missing the forcefield in the beginning of the game against Leenock and also forgetting to put a pylon at his third on Proxima. At least stuff like that is easily correctable. For those who did not see it Zest dropped a force field behind the sentry and unnecessarily lost the sentry early in game 5 vs Leenock. Sentries , one of the reasons I like SC2 more than Broodwar.

Would be a stretch to think Zest could win that but he has a chance. For those who think Zest could not beat liquid Bunny? You might find out. That Terran Bunny is playing in this tournament.

We talk about Zest vs Liquid Bunny. How about Zest vs Demuslim? That is Zest's first match in group tomorrow. My god he has to be able to beat that guy.

Zest didn't play in the tournament. He was a walkover since he is travelling to hsc right now.

Protoss- Hero and Showtime. Zerg- Dark and Scarlett Terran- Byun and Kelazar. Zest got 17% of the vote. SoS was second to Hero for the GSL vote. So all that complaining about voting was a waste of time. The right people basically got in. You can take some issue with Scarlett but that is about it. Democracy wins.

Also I disagree with "right people got in". GuMiho is out but ByuN is in. That is not right. Scarlett is in but Elazer and Snute are out? That is not right either. So 2 wrong there. ByuN and Scarlett are the consequences of the whole popular fan vote.

Points from Valencia would not have mattered since neither played there.

No, the GSL vs the World announcement explicitly stated: "Note: invites are based on WCS Korea Standings, excluding IEM Shanghai and GSL Season 3" Gumiho did have more points than TY, but that was only because Gumiho had 600 points from GSL Season 3 and TY had 200. Since Gumiho played in the very first GSL Ro32 group and TY is in the very last GSL Ro32 group it would be extremely unfair to punish TY for Afreeca's scheduling. Excluding those points places TY above Gumiho, and hence TY was invited as #4 while Gumiho was not as #5. There was no mistake from Blizzard.
