People like you, who say things like this really have no sense of who their talking about, like seriously who are you? Are you saying herO sucks, are you implying YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE HIGHEST LEVEL of PvP (by saying herO has no clue)? Are you better than CJ herO? Let's see how many games you can win against sOs? Or herO? Or just any Grandmaster or even Masters player? (If you are a Grandmaster player or masters player, good for you) CAN YOU TAKE GAMES OFF HERO? NO? Then don't say he has no clue, cuz he's much better than you.
just had to throw this out there lol, it's a late post but yeah....
The rage he evoked from you with 2 sentences is really amusing.
Stay salty.
On topic: herO will likely advance 1st from his group; I really don't see any other plausible result unless TaeJa upsets him, which is admittedly a possibility

Such a weak argument, that's like saying a food critic cannot judge how good a food is unless he can cook as good as the chef. Why can't you guys just agree that herO have flaws like human and not some God that descended? Yes, this is a fanclub but it's not only for shits like: "herO is best player no flaw" we can still critic on his plays and other things like how he has no clue right now with his approach to PvP. Nothing is wrong with that at all, we're just acknowledging that this is herO's flaw and he needs to improve upon it.
I don't think herO has "no clue" about PvP, he knows a lot and has a lot of experience. Mirror match ups are often the hardest though and herO himself said that he doesn't like it because it's so risky. I can totally understand that since as Zerg player, ZvZ is the most stressful for me.
That said, it doesn't mean we should blindly say he's always the best (especially raging about it isn't the good way, no one will listen to you). Even if you don't play on his level, if you watch enough of his games, you can see the mistakes. And that's okay, we all make mistakes and we can discuss it. I wouldn't go as far to say that he doesn't know what he's doing but he may be still figuring stuff out. Judging by the interviews he doesn't seem too worried about PvP right now, so I think we should believe him and see how it turns out.

I don't really think that Taeja is capable of an upset like that right now. I mean he himself said that he isn't planning to go to Ro8. Unless other players underestimate him, I mean, he's still really good.
Group A is by far the easiest, unless herO derps like he did against Dream in the Ro32 he should advance pretty comfortably. SpeeD theoretically could upset him in the first match, but herO has such an edge in experience. The fight for 2nd place in that group should be much closer.
As a side note, I think herO's PvP has improved since he got eliminated from S2SL, where he looked quite weak at it.

We shall see. I don't put much stock at all into what TaeJa, or any other player, says in public interviews. Besides, TaeJa is a notorious troll in these things... Don't you remember what he was saying just this year alone? He wanted a rematch with Zest in Ro16; he 'didn't care' about the Adept nerf, and he was even joking about being able to enjoy a vacation for 6 months since his opponent in Code A was Protoss (this was pre-Adept nerf). We will really have to pay close attention to this group especially since TaeJa has not appeared in a year and now he's in the Ro16, which hasn't happened since 2012
Inspiring, maybe not, but good, yes. I'm not a pro to talk about strategies and stuff but his control of the game and particular units looked really solid. On the beginning of LotV I was very worried about his wonky use of Disruptors but now he seems fine with them, getting some good shots and not losing much usually.

Well, he took some huge hits in the one disruptor game. He just outplayed Trap so much (and has much better mechanics) that Trap couldn't capitalize on it because he had no bases.

I think with Disruptors vs Disruptors it's ALL about luck. Think about Puck vs Harstem in WCS Shanghai. since the start of LOTV, Puck has had some the the best control of disruptors across all matchups in the world, not just in the NA region, yet after one unlucky hit from Harstem's disruptors and he's dead, he can't recuperate, it's a very unforgiving unit.
excuse me but herO's arms seem really really nice Also I prefer CJ's old uniform to this new one I hope herO rekt Cure in the Ro8, I kinda have bad feelings for the guy after what he has done to Solar and soO

Yeah, it's not the best CJ uniform, not the worst one either though. Cure sure looks scary but herO always seemed to like PvT, so I think it should be ok.
I added some new stuff to the GSL photo post. I will probably add more to this one as well, as soon as I find some more pics. BTW, would you like to see a herO GIF master post? I'm thinking about collecting them together but there's already a lot of stuff in first post, so I'm considering making a post and just linking it in the first one.
