![]() Translated from http://s.163.com/12/1121/14/8GRGALP000314D0E.html ![]() Thank you BabyKnight for accepting this interview with s.163.com. Now that everything is over, can you talk to us about your feelings regarding your performance at BWC? It wasn't too bad, but the match against HerO was a little disappointing. I think I didn't manage to perform to the best of my abilities. But defeating Rain really felt good, so it was still pretty good overall. The match where you defeated Rain in the group stage was very entertaining. I was really happy. The strategies that he chose were not actually too suitable for the maps that we were playing on. I think my personal style helped me to be able to win the match. Because he chose the wrong strategies, it gave me some advantage, and so I decided to play a more standard style, and slowly improve on my lead and guaranteeing the win. What's the greatest difference between your style and the style of a Korean Protoss? Their strategies and styles are more complete, and the amount of practice they do is far more than me. For me, I prefer to rely on my opponent making mistakes, and my control. As the Denmark champion, how would you grade your performance at BWC? My performance in Shanghai? 7 points I guess, if the total is upon 10. Can you introduce us a bit more to the Starcraft scene in Denmark? Our circle isn't a big one. There are some decent players, but they aren't really famous. We don't have any major websites either, so most Denmark players usually look at teamliquid or other major international websites. Our playerbase isn't very big in terms of numbers, but we have many people who care about eSports, and we have some people who would organise Barcrafts. How do you view your future as a professional gamer? Or is it more like an interest? I will keep playing. I really like Starcraft. If there's a Warcraft 4 or Starcraft 3 in the future I might consider switching, but as for now, I will keep playing until there are no tournaments for me to play in. As an ex-Dota player, what made you switch to Starcraft 2? Because I felt I preferred 1v1s. Even though I was a team games player in the past, I'm better at 1v1s. I really like the mindset where you can focus on the game and slowly improve yourself. Many Dota players tend to blame their team mates after losing, but I prefer playing on my own and slowly improving myself. What's your most unforgettable moment in your professional career? I think it is probably the moment where I managed to defeat Ret at the WCS Europe Finals and advanced into the World Finals at shanghai. I was really very happy. And in the games after that, my goal had already changed from winning to just enjoying myself. Your performance at BWC has won you many new fans. Thank you everyone for supporting me. This is really important to me. Please continue cheering for me. Thank you. | ||
