That's my biggest fear aswell. Although he's done a pretty good job of keeping his form in LotV so far. Like, he hasn't really dropped off since December (though he stupidly loses BO1s every now and then), so for now I'm still optimistic.

What do you guys reckon about TY vs Byul? I don't think air mech really plays into TY's strengths, it doesn't allow him to make the same kind of use of his insane multitasking as bio play does.
I really hope he's just experimenting in proleague and has actually prepared some properly solid, well thought out builds for his GSL group.

Well, he tried to make it work along with his multitasking. He killed like 70 workers. I just think the strategy in general isn't that good, and ByuL was already the best Zerg against mech at the end of HotS. Now he has even more tools to deal with it. I think this may have been a map specific thing we won't see him do again, but we'll see. I think he'd have definitely won if he went bio.

This game doesn't really mean anything regarding GSL though, since there's no Zerg in his group. He didn't have to show any builds for that, so it should be okay. Unless he's actually experiencing a dip of form right now he should be fine.

He definitely did a good job being active with banshee, liberator and hellion harass. But yeah that's what I'm worried about, that he might be experiencing a dip in form. He dropped 2 maps to foreigners at GPL and then lost another 2 in Kung Fu Cup. I know those games were basically decided really early on by cheese etc but it just kinda makes me worried.

I really think that if he plays at his best he can win GSL, I just really hope he performs.

Well, I mean, at least it's not like he played badly. He smashed ByuL's drop and got into a good position. I think if he went into bio from there it would have been a certain win. ByuL's just so good at handling mech. So I'm still hopeful for his next matches.

Oh also he forgot liberator range. Without range the liberators have to get in range of the hydras to set up, which means you lose half of them for no damage. So yeah, derp.

Not really. They take up a lot of supply, cost quite a bit of gas (if you rewatch you'll notice TY was constantly low on gas) and they're not very mobile, plus ByuL was already going into vipers.

I was really scared after he lost to Dear. Especially because he didn't really have to lose the first game. Really glad it worked out in the end, and he avoided the teamkill, too.

Dream is a bit scary though, he looks quite on point and I've only seen him play 1 TvT in LotV so far (got 0-2'd by TY in Kung Fu Cup qualifiers).
