I can't believe how different his play is from Maru's, yet both are owning a lot of face. You guys think that top terrans like flash can compete in the long run without crazy maru-like micro? | ||

We are used to see Maru-like micro who players like Maru himself executes perfectly, Polt and TaeJa uses it a lot too (and does well). Then there is TvP that we see most commonly, not really Maru tier micro and execution more mid way style to try to keep up with protoss. Flash has always been different in this. He has really solid defence, best macro, great micro and his unit composition is usually just what you want against your opponent (You can't really say same about Maru, even though he still gets away with it with crazy move arounds in map to make your enemy make mistakes) Flash is the ultimate weapon, if there is Maru style which relies on micro and multitasking there is also Flash style that relies on mistake-less macro that is superior to anyone else, and being always aware what is going on. Flash is in many aspects better than most terran players there are. I'm pretty sure he will soon start to show what that really means. If you watch him play at proleague, every time he loses he gets really angry at himself, he knows he can do better and he doesn't make those mistakes normally also almost every one of his TvP games I've seen lately has been impressive in many ways (for example the one against Sora which he most likely would have won if he didn't go that aggressive against the protoss army) Without doubt Flash is one of the best terrans there is  Flash said in interview he has 68-2 tvp in practice, that's most likely against KT protoss players (and other practice partners(?)) KT P lineup is: Zest, Stats, MyungsiK all of them are crazy good protoss players even though Zest seems to be the only one who is in the spotlight. Also Zest said in one of his interviews some time ago that he doesn't think terran is bad, at least when he plays against his team mates (Flash, TY) You could say that he means he doesn't do that good against them (68-2 correlates well with this) | ||
