why did he go for these cheap allins? 6gate robo, 4gate? really? he won with solid play against bomber. Just lost everytime when he didn't go for it. -_-

sigh... He seems kind of lost in the early/midgame of PvT. I think he could have won them if he just pulled it into late game :/

Don't get me wrong. When you hit that level of multitasking, I don't believe Medivacs can be stopped by Protoss. That might or might not be the reason for all that All-in play. But you don't have to write this after you made several mistakes and a poor strategy choice in the game.

oh I agree. I dont think in game is the place to complain. I could see how maybe he got a little flustered and upset by all the ceremony stuff but he should have just gged and vented later

He certainly looks lost in pvt to me, I've always felt like multitasking wasn't his strongest point, so dealing with all the medivacs etc could be hard and frustrating for him. Whatever balance issues there may or may not be, he needs to step it up in a big way if he wants to be competitive this year. I hope he can.

creator is the guy who has positive records against the top 3 PvTers in WoL (polt, bomber, mkp), probably the best consistent PvTer in WoL's history, and now he's so lost ;;

I didn't see Rain vs jjakji but have any of the defensive macro style protosses really had much success yet in HoTS? I know MC was getting some wins but wasn't it off the back of a lot of 2 base play? I guess the style that Creator likes to play hasn't really been figured out yet. I think the new PvZ will be good for him and he's a good PvPer. I expect him to get back into Code S. Just sucks to see him lose 1 game away from the Ro16 2 seasons in a row

MC's was also a lot of 1 base play, Oracle + 4 gate etc

as well as some 2 base stuff.
PvZ looks absolutely perfect for creator though, this is true.

I would say between rain and jjakji lie world in terms of actual skill. Just because he beat a totally off being Marineking doesn't make Jjakji that great actually. He showed some abuse of beta imbalance in the MLG qualifier and GSTL pre-season. That he was narrowly beaten by rain doesn't mean a lot in the matchup.

I was more asking because Rain plays a defensive style of PvT. I think it's easier to compare him and Creator than him and MC and I dont think many other top protoss players have played strong terrans from what I remember.

Poor Creator, only 1 map away from advancing today. :/ I am surprised, since his PvT used to be so amazingly good, but I guess sometimes if you become so well-trained it can take time to switch away from the old way - and the new early and mid-game is very tricky. Still, assuming the game isn't inherently imbalanced, I think eventually we'll see his iron defense return.
