Edit: Uh, guys. Protoss isn't pwning terran atm. The winning rates are simply looking more - dare I muster the sheer audacity to use that magic word?? - balanced. MLG isn't the only tournament in the world. | ||

Well, don't take this as a criticism or a challenge but rather an appeal: another thing that TL posters don't seem to be above is judging a larger whole by a smaller vocal minority. Balance talk was never the express purpose of this fanclub and most of us were never here to talk about balance. For me this fanclub is founded on two truths: 1) Protoss were having a really hard time at the highest level of competition (and arguably still is despite recent comparatively spectacular performances in non-GSL tournaments) 2) (1) has a very real morale effect on all the rest of us lesser toss players who find ourselves not knowing who to look up to anymore and not seeing a metagame ideal to strive towards to improve our game anymore. (2) feels pretty.darn.bad, trust me. So I'm happy the TL admins had the empathy and the cute sense of humor to let this place live as long as it didn't get out of hand. Shared suffering does not necessarily equate to shared whining, even if some of us do whine. | ||

And if you look it up, I bet you'll see zerg players discus the OPness of the WP+Sentry strat, that MC ha employed against Idra yesterday. | ||

Thats the sort of posts that grinds my gears and I just feel that these types of fanclubs are sparking more of them to life. But yes I do sympathise with protoss race sometimes especially in the GSL where the they are vastly under represented. ...oh and GO NANIWA (beating Huk) | ||

That's why a lot of protoss 4 gated to masters right? because of their "skill" lol. A lot of people can maintain the masters that they have gotten back when 4gating was ridiculous by playing one match in the new seasons. Each race has their own difficulties. Each race has had a really hard meta game shift. Stop complaining, just wait for the pros to refine new builds that way you can copy them and win on ladder till the other races pros refine some builds to beat that meta game shift. | ||
