And why did you feel the need to share that in his fanclub? Also, you really shouldn't talk about the game if you don't understand it. He definitely cheesed, but he had clear transitions. 6/7 pool on dual sight? After making 6 lings, he immediately started to drone up. He obviously just wanted to deny Nani's FFE instead of out right killing him. Xel'Naga? The same. Roach attack into expand. He could've easily killed Naniwa after taking out the forge, but he decided to just take Nani's natural out and expand himself. If you want to blame anyone, blame Naniwa for being predictable.

Have you seen other games of Leenock this MLG? His was play was phenomenal. The series' against MVP and DRG were top notch and his playstyle most certainly goes beyond all-inning every game.

No leenock is very much more Julyzerg style, I can't count the times July has baneling busted a terran who opened fast expand behind only a 3 depot wall or a toss who went light on cannons with thier fast exapand. Any weakness shown by the other player will be exploited but it's not cheese for the sake of cheese. Though much as I love and admire July I have to say Leenock these days shows a stronger (and slightly smarter) willingness to transition out of early agression to a more macro oriented game while continuing to apply mild harrasment. There are certain players who will not let you play risky against them and leenock is one of them ( as is lucky who has shown he will punish both naniwa and the Slayer's terrans for inflexible openings). As someone who is a big fan of both finalists and was proud to see them both do well over the weekend I'm happy about leenock's win. He understood how very real of a threat Naniwa's build was if it was allowed to be carried out and he set out to delay or deny it in the best ways he could. The only thing that makes me sad is wishing Nani could have adjusted to leenock's play more so we could see some truly great games between them. Further meetups between the two have the promise to be quite interesting.

He won, it got the job done. Bitbybit also got the job done vs haypro in season 2. I'm not saying it in a negative fashion ^^ Play to win! Naw dude, people are getting angry not just cause you bashed him, but you compared him to someone who isn't at all like him. Yea I see what your saying about play to win, comparing him to bitbybit makes no sense though. Bit all-ins every game regardless of what he sees, leenock played mostly macro games this MLG and used what he scouted to his advantage. He sees a greedy expo, why not all-in? Bit pulls all his scvs leaving no transitions possible, but leenock actually has back up plans for what he does and aims to pressure and deny the fast expand, not win the game in one move. Watch what you say dude if you didn't mean it in a negative fashion ![]()

I went on my kr account and checked his match history like a year ago and he only all-inned vs zerg. In the GSL, he only all-inned vs. Zerg aswell, never did one all-in vs Terran/Protoss. You're the one bashing bitbybit if anything. I just said I think they've similar playstyles. Only difference I can see is that people look different on terrans. If a terran all ins people are going to hate that guy because he's terran. Just because Leenock all-inned against Naniwa doesn't mean he all-ins every game. He didn't all-in against Mvp. Against DRG he played quite well too, not all-inning in at least one of the games. And he didn't all-in against HuK either. You saw a few games and made a HUGE blanket statement regarding his play, which is why I think many people are disgruntled by your statement.

You are really reaching with that kind of comparison or don`t watch and just put labels on a player after one series. Leenock can actually play the damn game (hence he why he is a top tier zerg) and micro and macro with the best of them. Somewhere in these forums Naniwa himself said that if you lose to cheese then you are just playing to greedy and that is exactly what happened to him yesterday thinking he can FFE on every map and with one cannon.
