I wonder why everyone is focusing on the gold league account and not the diamond league account or her winning an amateur tournament. Surely this doesn't mean that she will forever play like someone in gold league and kill the team? I mean seriously? Give her a chance guys. Sign me up, I hope she does well to shut all the haters up. There are fanclubs of established players that have been on the scene for a while and have done diddly squat in major tournies as of late so why not spread the hate there and let some new talent try to establish itself before we try to stamp it out with cynicism and doom.

Ignoring the fact that there are many other players out there who are far more deserving of getting a spot on a pro-gaming team, you can understand why a lot of people are suspicious of this.

Who are you to judge what she's deserving of? Clearly the SlayerS team thinks differently, and I'd venture that their opinion has more merit than yours.

I think the people criticizing this fan club(and sure, probably a lot of the people joining) are completely missing the point. The idea is to show some support for the girl, make something of a positive display, and try to have a counterpoint to all the asshole negativity that's being thrown around everywhere. Sure some of the nerds here may not get it and just want to stare at her, but that's irrelevant.

Sign me up. I don't even bother with fanclubs for my favourite players, honestly, but this has some merit. Hopefully this gets huge and we can show that TL has more to say than "get this fucking gold league chick off my precious SlayerS!"

This is Boxers team, I don't think he'd recruit dead weight to the team. Won't know until she plays, but I hope she does well, not only because I like Slayer_S, but because it might help some more top-tier female players gain notoriety.

I'm just curious what it is you are suspicious of. Has someone deceived you? I think what you meant to say was "..you can understand why a lot of people are upset/frustrated?" That is understandable but if you were offered a spot on SlayerS team would you say no? Maybe you should vent in a blog about SlayerS recruitment tactics instead of coming to this poor girls fan club to bash on her?
