Made with ink and watercolor :> Gogo HerO! It's awesome, nice work! Only thing that bugs me a little is his derpy left (right from our view) eye.

If both eyes were perfectly in the middle he would just have a boring stare. Im pretty sure spacehusky made that on purpose to give more life to his facial expression. I love it!

![]() As for the "derpy" eye, its probably the shading that makes it look like that ![]() ![]() Fun fact: pretty much everyone have one eye higher/lower than the other one :D (think about that next time you look into the mirror) :>

He's playing practice games vs PuMa, and so far every game has been sick. Well what do you expect, almost every major foreign tournament has been Hero vs Puma at the finals. Basically we are witnessing top-tier potential finals games non-stop, except instead of 60k viewers, only 2k know about it. Hush Hush!

Although it does kind of dispel the 'rivalry' mythology that was surrounding these two if they're practicing together I'm not quite sure about his macro. But he got a fucking amazing army control late game. Is impressive cause herO is a mosnter too. Its like a clash of gods =) I also love this new style herO is playing. Hes delaying the double forge to get a really fast third. Using blink to get map control and defend against any kind of push. Then he gets double forge and charge. If the games go longer he gets the usual transition to colossus. But hes always prepared to defend drops with hts in every single base. Hes really playing another level of pvt Out of all the protosses in the world, herO is the most pacient and the best one with army control(huk is up there too) /harras/position@late game. Hes builds are so refined, its just impressive.

That last game of PvT was so intense, with genuine multitasking all over the show. I haven't really seen Hero pull off that kind of play in his PvTs in tournaments, it's great if you're comfortable and playing close to your best, but it's also very fragile and will ruthlessly punish you if you screw up. I was lucky enough to be at Dreamhack winter, got to briefly speak to Hero and he really is a very reserved shy guy, wish him all the best for the future! Most of the people here aren't idiot fanboys, but watch his stream religiously, we've seen what he can do so every time he loses people saying he's overrated or not a top player are just far off the mark

He came dangerously close to losing 3 or 4 times but kept holding on and eventually won with a storm flank. I really feel like hero is the best protoss in the world right now Well mechanics/micro wise I wouldn't doubt he is right up there. But to be no.1 you better have some GSL results (or trophies, even). And the protosses who do well at GSL always tend to pull out an all in or two every series. I've only seen hero cheese in PvP. Yeah yeah, I know, it's surprising how less mechanical players can get better results than Hero. There's obviously "soft ceiling" that once you hit it, you're able to pull off wins. As Hero keeps transcending this barrier, we will have to see if he pulls the curve higher along with him, or if luck will keep trumping skill.
