EG do have a house in Korea. It is in the same complex as the IM Team House. It is called 'The Lab'.

Ummm you realize he almost all killed the korean team 1 or 2 weeks ago...? Very little has changed since then. Feast and Goody are capable of taking games off koreans and players of Stephano's caliber, especially if they take them off guard or the better player is off their game for any reason. See Goody vs MMA for example. You can't expect him to win 100% of the time vs non-korean/low level korean players... I don't think you realize how hard that is even if you are one of the best players in the game. Still same Stephano, very similar capability of play even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes. I guess I shouldn't reply to this, but it's hard not to. People always make comments like this when they see their favorite player isn't perfect :/. It's like oh noes Stephano beat DRG, Life, etc but lost to Feast - DOES NOT COMPUTE - must have become worse since then!
Yes, his results against the Korean all star team were spectacular. Stephano is still a genius at SC2. But his lack of practice, presumably, has made his results far more variable. Now that TL has at least partially updated the TLPD he's 25th overall in ELO and behind a bunch of foreigners. He was #1 overall (for all players internationally) for a good portion of 2012, so he's definitely not in peak form. It's true that anyone can beat anyone in SC2 in a given bo3 but when you look at Stephano's results over the past couple months, you see he's dropping a lot more bof3s, bof5, etc. to players he would have, three months ago, been heavily favored to defeat (feast, fraer, idra, TT1, etc.). Given the absurdly high level of play we've grown accustomed to, many fans, including me, have been disappointed recently by his play and subpar work ethic when it comes to practicing. Of course this just means we're spoiled but it doesn't make the disappointment any less real.

Thanks for the info. To you or anyone else who knows: Will he stay there or is he going to stay at the GOM house? Do you know whether he got his computer situation straightened out and plans to stream?
Also, EG (or Stephano) should make you the manager of this fan club and pay you to update the OP with his current status, which tournaments he's in etc. You already do so and it would be helpful to have one place to look to see where he's playing, when he's playing, where VODs can be viewed, etc.

Why would he stay at the GOM house if his own team has a house? Plus, I thought the GOM house was closing/closed already.

He stayed there the last time he was in Korea (in spite of there being an EG house apparently), which wasn't that long ago. I didn't know the GOM house was closing.
Edit: Thanks to the posters below for the info about the EG house. It should be great for the players now that EG has a home in Korea.
Edit 2: They have a Korean coach/manager of this team house! And not only that he is an ex SKT1 coach. He will also be teaming up with Hwanni the EG Korean Operations Director to get the team in tip top shape for the proleague Now I'm really intrigued. I wonder what their preparation will be like and am very curious to see what Stephano thinks about all of this.

The EG Korean House is new. It was only announced in the last 2 weeks or so. Thorzain is there currently.

The EG house just opened, which is why he was in the GOM house last time. It was only announced a few weeks ago.

EG house/The Lab was only announced recently, early December. The last time he was in Korea was around October.

The new groups are up. Stephano's group contains himself, BabyKnight, XlorD and MMA.
Stephano will face BabyKnight first. I think I've only seen them play each other once, and stephano won. So he should be fine.

You are a fantastic person, fyi.
Edit: too bad the game dropped

They have having tons of internet issues over there. Hopefully it is back soon. I couldn't tell if that was the reason he lost the first game or not.

No the reason was Stephano not spending his money...

BabyKnight push was really well executed. 3attack Colo+Immortals+Archons is so good against roach/lings (and I think Stephano's 2/2 wasn't done, or maybe during the fight?).
Even though Stephano had 4 broodlords, that's not enough DPS I think, especially against an "aoe heavy" composition.
I believe he should have teched to broodlords faster (8 broodlords should held that push I think). That's kinda the only thing you can do against that kind of push, or well, flank very well.
Could've used more spines too, like 8-10 more :/

You guys shouldn't have too much expectation for Stephano in this tournament. The guy who stays sober's gonna win it and I doubt it'll be the french zerg
