I think Stephano beats Oz should they meet. Oz played great against Stephano but, with my fanboy glasses on, I can't see him beating him in another series. He should have won the game on Entombed Valley and he just didn't react appropriately to Oz's awesome macro cheese on Daybreak. He's also coming off a stretch where he actually practiced so he should be in good shape. Also Stephano generally has had Violet's number, excluding the series at the MLG Arena. Everyone else does not seem to be a threat. The scariest players are MKP (he's going right?) and Taeja. Everyone else I favor Stephano over. With a win here he'd cement his status as the best zerg overall. (I keep saying he's the best and judging by the lack of people jumping down my throat for suggesting it I'm guessing most people are willing to at least consider him the best zerg.)

Stephano is going to EG but boy would it be insanely awesome if Stephano went to a KeSPA team.

Ye would be really awesome, if he is not allowed to stream, not allowed to play certain touraments etc ...

Any Stephano fan should be very happy if he joins EG, because we will see more screentime of him. EG markets the shit out of people and from a fan point of view this is awesome.

i'm not a big fan of EG, but if stephano gets to act in the same commercials as idra and others, keeping in mind his character as they did with the EG crew, we could have awesome stuff

People need to understand that the Group is not a round robin Group. It is a mini double-elimination bracket containing 8 players. Until the draw is released we don't know who Stephano will play in his Group or not. He might not even play Oz or Violet and obviously the Open Bracket winners are not known currently.

Check out the format below.

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Summer/Championship

Also for those wondering why he was 'swapped' with Losira instead of being placed in Group D, that was not really the case. Yes Stephano is seeded as 5 and Losira 6, but in reality there is no difference between seeds 5 and 6. They are based on placings in MLG Summer Arena. This had 2 seperate brackets and Stephano and Losira both finished 3rd in their respective brackets. Stephano was picked as 5 and Losira as 6 but in reality they both finished in the same position which was joint 5th (4 players above them).

i think that i'm not the only one to love that format

If this bracket is accurate is it very weird and bad for Stephano.
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Summer/Championship#Group_Play
He is top seed with Oz and will face an open bracket winner (including MKP, Leenock, Heart...) instead of Gix or Grubby. And then he will face Violet (a zerg) instead of Rain most likely (just bad luck there).
Nevermind, he will stomp them!

Rain is a pretty good terran,Stephano played him couple of times on the korean ladder,it's gonna be hard, especially if he plays mech,it's really popular right now,

Against Violet,I have to say stephano zvz has improved alot,so i except him to clean sweep violet.

Oz's PvZ is the best right now in my opinion,as much as i like Stephano,I think it will be 2-1 for OZ...

No, i refuse to believe that Stephano can lose three times in a row vs a protoss! He will destroy Oz!

OZ does some really wierd 1 gate play, and stephano doesn't really know how to counter it,so it'll be hard,it's the only way you can beat the zerg nowdays.

E.g., taking a third before 8:00 minutes as protoss and as a general matter taking a big "all or nothing" sort of risk to get your economy going when, if your opponent knows what you're doing, he'll likely kill you.

who are you to call anyone dumb?

It's a perfectly logical choice of words for builds that are similar to normal cheese in a way that they only work if unscouted or poorly reacted to.
