Nerchio won HSC V, beat MC 3-1 and Yonghwa 4-1. He's #1 EU GM, with a 70% win rate. Does that ring a bell? Because it's what Stephano was before he started winning a lot of tournaments, though he had a higher win rate that I think was up to 85-90%.

There's one Zerg smurf on EU GM that has a higher win rate than Nerchio - Tentaculat. Don't know who that is, but I think we said before that it wasn't Stephano?

The numbers and the results are just incredible. Aside from MLG Winter Championship and HSC - where he was drunk - he placed no lower than 6th in EVERY major and premier tournaments he entered and won EVERY french tournament he entered : eOSL Winter 2012, LDLC Winter Trophy and recently the WCS France Finals. No other player had this kind of consistency throughout 2012 in foreign tournaments. Not even MC, even though he won more of them.

I'm starting to wonder if we aren't spoiled, and are expecting and demanding too much of him. I, too, am disappointed by the fact that he still uses the same play-style as 6 months ago. Let's hope he can have holidays and come back next year stronger (and hopefully in Millenium again)
