I would have placed adelscott and moman higher.
Anyway, gratz stephano !
He was supposed to win and he did it, not many players are able to do that everytime, but he does

Seems that Socke is also in the same situation according to Liquipedia. Stephano has not qualified for one or the other, he has qualified for BOTH! So two more major tournaments for him lined up (for Socke too). France WCS have Top 3 qualifying to European Championship. In addition the winner of France WCS qualifies to World Championship too. There will be $60,000 in total prize money for the WCS Euro's! And probably at least the same for the World's too. So lots more money to play for. So it was much more lucrative for Stephano to choose France WCS over HSC as he has $6000 already won with the additional chance to win a lot more at two more big WCS tournaments. Thx. Great combo by stephano. I Hope he'll prepare and play seriously these tournaments, he has still so much potential left and un-used.... I'm really waiting to see him play at the top of the world level Because clearly that hasn't happened yet..

Stephano knows his national scene.

It is too bad that there isn't a lower bracket, because I see Stephano taking down Huk, Puzzle, Alicia and Ret but I see him having a much more difficult time versus HerO and MC (versus Puma it will be balanced i think).

Against Hero and especially MC, I wouldn't favor him unless he has practiced the defense of 2 bases all-ins since he got beaten by Mana and Sase. If he has, though... On another unrelated note, to say Adel is bad in PvZ is actually untrue. He has an extremly strong build that surprises even the top zergs (he took one map from Symbol, and from other top zergs in a team tournament). But french zergs know it very well and the one who kicked him out practiced a very strong counter to his style the weeks before the tournament, and he hasn't been able to find a solution on scene.

Now I am sure he trained his match-ups more carefully, especially something to counter the immortal sentry all-in he has trouble against especially since he will face potentially 2 PvZ specialists.

Unless he has a smurf account, which no one has been able to identify, he hasn't been training at all -- at most he's been averaging 2 or 3 games a day on the ladder. He's only been playing in tournaments. He probably could make tweaks in his play without practicing but no one, even Stephano, is as sharp as he could be if he's not practicing.

But training is good just if you are training specific build order or weakness, Stephano is just doing everytime almost the same build, I remember him playing Diestar on ladder when he begins to make the infestor fast upgrade build, he said that he was trying this new one and almost never came back to Mutas banes, this is like that, he somehow find how to dont train a lot and dont mind about new builds/unit composition. How many are loosing time by finding build order who will work just for one Bo3 ? He is just gifted and use it
