Stephano lost, not surprising though, he's just not on the same level as most Koreans.

That's quite awful trolling sir, surely you can do better. On subject.... well, mlg system is as bad as it can be, and that was to be expected. Ipl is where the us tour gets interesting..

One more chance to see him continue with Sc2, he must be so upset right now.

no but if you dont want to play in open bracket compete in arena otherwise dont whine about open bracket

I wasnt surprised either, because to play that long, isnt something Stephano is realy good at. Next time, Stephano should just skip MLG if he isnt seeded for Poolplay. Its just a waste of time.
IPL he'll dominate again and show everyone how good he realy is.

That won't work. Pool play requires you to play a lot of games as well. What MLG wants from its players is repeat attendance.
I don't think MLG is to blame for Stephano's losses, though. Fans have to face this fact - Stephano lost to the first good Terran he came across, and then the first good Protoss he came across. He did not face a single top player other than Polt and Inori this MLG and he lost to both. Every player he beat was a random.
This is not satisfactory performance from Stephano. Far from it. I don't know what went on, but that's what interviews are for.

I didnt know how many games he played today, and I realy dont want to blame MLG for that. But everyone who saw his stream knows how good he is and that there must be a reason why he lost. Maybe he just wasnt in a good mood or something like that. Who knows :-)
I'm just looking forward to IPL and hope he'll make realy good results that we're able to watch Stephano for another year playing SC2.

This is not satisfactory performance from Stephano. Far from it. I don't know what went on, but that's what interviews are for. Aye, he did really poorly, he actually dominated Polt the first 2 games and lost the first because of a few enormous, terrible and unusual mistakes at the end. The last game is not safe at all, whereas most of the time he plays safe in decisive matches...And he lost to Inori, a player he never lost to before (he was something like 7 2 against him beforehand), and a protoss on top of that, his strongest matchup. I didn't expect him to win, that's hard coming from the open bracket and almost impossible coming from the losers', but I'm sure he can do a lot better than that and he must be disappointed. possible explanations : - hard bracket + Bo3 => anything can happen - bad week-end, playing less well than usual - last MLG run he did poorly as well, perhaps the event doesn't suit him, not much the number of games but more the pace of the games, long downtimes, crowd, etc. - no real time to warm up - he went from (relatively) bad players to top ones without transition, in the previous tournaments he won difficulty was rising steadily and he was able to get in the zone, to have the momentum, something he failed to achieve this week end it seems.
Ah well, let's see if he can turn the tides at IPL4.

Yes ! so if u want a "free" group place you must play every MLG tournaments ? nice ! i think just the open need Seed and no the seed with the old results to mlg tournaments but TRUE seeds with level, stephano must never play against polt at this moment ... but is always the same problem .. some code S players lose to open bracket ..

and now idra even leas against inori 1-0, idra fanboys will say now for months that idra is better than stephano even if he wins ipl4 and the next 3 tournys after that as well, was just the same when stephano lost to boxer and idra beat him shortly afterwards, even though stephano did just way better over all over any time period that included more than mlg people were just unsure who is better until now - and then that esports can be so sad TT

So if Stephano decides to play in the next mlg has he still to go through the open bracket?
If so would he at least have a better seeding?

that depends if he qualifys for the mlg arena that is played before every championships and decides about the seedings

Why do people have to perpetuate the dumb idea that IdrA and Stephano have any kind of rivalry? They respect one another and some dumb fans squabble, but it's nothing to really talk about.

i didn't say that they hava a rivalry or something like that, I am just annoyed when idra fans say in the stphano stream chat over and over againt that idra is better, obviously they would do that anyway, but now they will have some stupid argument to back it up
