SXSW Showmatch vs. White-Ra - Stephano wins! we all know his pvz is extremely strong and im sorry, but white ra hasnt been performing outstandingly for quite a while. and thats what you need be doing in order to stand a chance against stephano. especially in a bo9. Lone Star Clash - Top 3 Polt is probably the toughest opponent in this tournament. especially considering his stupidly strong tvz matchup. but players like violet, demuslim, select, sleep and perhaps even dragon cannot be underestimated. MLG Pro Circuit - 9th-12th This tournament is STACKED with outstanding players. As every mlg event has been for quite a while now. When I look at the raw skill and potential of the people attending, stephano definitely has a shot at making top 3 and even winning the whole thing. the biggest problem will likely be the format. making it through the open bracket wont be too much of a problem. however it certainly is exhausting. and stephano has stated before that he does not perform his best when he is forced to play many many hours a day. perhaps this has changed, perhaps it has not. needlessly to say he will need to bring his A game for this tournament for a shot at placing high in the end. IPL 4 - 2nd Winning IPL 3 is stephanos crowning achievement. IPL 4 will be his last tournament during his visit in the states. and even though a lot of top korean terrans are sure to be trying to bar his way, I think stephano is gonna conclude his trip with a great performance in a great tournament. however taking first place, i dont know. i dont think its gonna happen. its a gut feeling. ps: should stephano take "gold" in all 4 of em... im gonna streak a marathon. AND set a new world record whilst doing so! | ||

Going to the MLG through the Open Bracket is really tough, and long..I think you have to win at least 15 matchs in order to win the whole thing. Which makes for 30 to 45 games played. And Stephano said after the only MLG he attended last year something like "I get tired when I play too much SC2". On the other hand, he also said, this week, that he's more and more getting used to play for long periods of time  So..I don't know.He's going to win the showmatch against White-Ra for sure though. He'll probably end up 2nd at Lone Star Clash if there is a Polt vs Stephano final. We could also be lucky and see Polt fall before the final, against a Protoss for example (that would be very cool for Stephano). About IPL4, the tournament is not that long but the competition is so tough..I don't know about 2nd place for Stephano. | ||

SXSW: If he loses to White-Ra... then the old master just shows he's still got gas in the tank. I don't see this happening, <10 %, but if it did happen, as much as I love Stephano, I'd love to see White-Ra shock the world again. Don't trifle with Ukrainians when it comes to money and White-Ra is a clutch big stage player. So is Stephano though. Then, I'd say given Stephano's status now, he should either win one of the 3 tournaments, or place top 3 in all of them. Then, us fanboys, will be safe from the haters a while longer :D Its going to be crazy month for him, I hope he shocks the SC2 world yet again. Welcome to America Stephano..... see you in Vegas! | ||

Plus I cannot recall seeing so many Spore Crawlers! Credit to White-Ra for trying something different but Stephano adapted and eventually overwhelmed him. Stephano completely bossed that series, the only loss came due to an Archon Toilet working perfectly. I think Stephano was trying to neural the Mothership in that game but it did not really work out! | ||
