White? With Blue eyes? No. European people is a large mix. Stephano looks like an European. No. Ethnically European is white. Ethnically Stephano is Tunisian. Ethnicity refers to ancestry / race which is not the same as nationality. That isn't knocking people of different races or saying they are less European - it's just what ethnicity means.
who decided that "ethnically European is white"? you? Because people should be aware that this is just false. If ethnicity defines groups who share a same ancester - as you say, then speaking of "European ethnicity" just doesn't make sense. All Europeans have non european origins. Europe has always been a mix: Persian invading Greece, Asians invading the Roman Empire (recent genetical studies have shown that in France, many people have Mongol origins!), Arabic in Spain during middle Ages, etc. etc. and we can pretty assume no one shares the same origins.
But we could go even further: today nobody even agrees on what "Europe" is... (is Turkey part of Europe ? for instance, is a big question) From there defining "European ethnicity" is a kind of joke.
But then the question is: why do people stick to these ideas science has shown to be wrong for decades? I am not sure I have the answer, but at least, it reminds me of an old myth.
Ancient greeks from Athenes thought they were "autochtones", i.e. their people was born from land itself, without any parent. That myth was the answer to a problem : of course they could not admit they were coming from somewhere else, because then they would be somehow be barbarians as the people they despised so much; but still they were obviously coming from somewhere (i come from my parents, my parents come from my grands parents... but where did all this begin?) Land was the answer, obviously false but psychologically satisfying )
So, is it so hard to admit that one wasn't born from Land? and that there is no community based on Land or Race, or Ancestors, as "ethnicity" implies?

Hmm, What lol? Most northern European´s countries like Germany,Denmark Norway, Sweden, England is ethnically more white in traditionally sense.
French, Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal is a huge mix of so many different ethnically groups Stephano looks as European as everyone els if you travel to south Europe.
Claiming Europeans to be white is so wrong it really depends if you from south north or east!
BTW, sign me up I got no idea why I haven't signed up yet

Jesus christ talk about a soft spot. If you look at someone you can often tell with some accuracy where a major part of his ancestry lies. I would really like a link to the generally accepted report that shows that 'ethnicity' is 'wrong' or whatever. Afaik American ID cards even have that information on them. If you look at someone from, say Norway, whose ancestors have lived there for the past 500 years and someone from Nigeria with ancestors there for the past 500 years, you'll see physical differences. It's kind of hard to prove this wrong, don't you think? Or maybe you don't see a difference at all?
Someone just asked where he had his heritage. Maybe another country may be entitled to his wins as well? Appearantly he has Tunisian heritage, so maybe one could say he's playing a bit for Tunisia as well? Things like that are interesting for fans I suppose. No real reason to be so darn butt hurt about it imo.
Personally I'm really interested in what team he's actually on now. Has there been any news about the controversy?

Who cares about an ethnical background in ESPORTS? Stephano is sickly good and a cutie. At least I know I don't care as the ethnical background doesn't change who he is: a sick nerd baller kid, THE WRECKING BALL! <3
Please keep this discussion out of a FANCLUB and consider starting a new topic if you wish to "battle" this out.
