Stephano has earned at least $94,000 in prize money from Sc2. The website below details most of those winnings. However they have his winning from SCAN 4 incorrectly totalled. He won almost $800 rather than the $660 they credit him with. Possibly they were unaware his prize was from SCAN 4 was £500 rather than 500 Euros. Also the website does not include smaller prizes such as the $125 for qualifying for NASL3 and ignores earnings from 2v2 tournaments. Stephano has personally earned (after prize was split) at least $1000 from a 2v2 tournament, partnered with Bling. So while not completely accurate or comprehensive it serves as a guide to the ball-park figures of player prize-money.

What the list of top earners does show is that despite not competing in GSL Code S, Stephano is earning lots of prize money. The people who have earned more are those who have won major tournaments too, usually Code S. Stephano is also winning more prize money than the vast majority of players who have played in GSL Code S. While this remains the case, you can see the logic of Stephano not moving to Korea for the GSL. If he did so, his earnings would almost certainly drop. Being a Code S Finalist is very lucrative but anything less would be a drop in his current prize money winning rate. Of course not participating in Code S will mean the haters will still diss Stephano's abilities, but haters gonna hate whatever.

I don't understand : Stephano was offered a spot for the IEM World 20 minutes ago but he refused because he had to play the IPL SXSW against Whitera on the 10th march.
But Whitera just accepted a spot in the IEM World yesterday... How is he gonna manage to attend the IPL SXSW?

I don't see anyone offered him a spot to IEM, just a random guy on twitter talked to him about Sound forfeiting and asked him if he's going to try to get the spot.
Plus I'm sure Stephano is unaware that Whitera is going to IEM WC since he usually doesn't read the community news !
But if Whitera can do it, maybe Steph too.

But how its a 4 day tournament and Stephano have to be in Texas the 10th for the showmatch. And its a really long flight. I dont see how its possible

Honestly when you look at the player pool I can only see MC/MMA taking him out if there's no upset :/

It's just Stephano is a big lamer when it comes to transportation and accomodation when he is in tournament. He is actually famous for borrowing money from everyone to buy diner, to get lost on regular basis etc etc ...

He has to stream on his team stream (Milenium) at least 2 hours a week. The team stream is, sadly, on daylymotion and is not featured on TL.
